For those that can’t understand Marcus lutrell’s dedication to this over a dog, that dog was a service dog, given to him for PTSD after he was the only survivor after a horrific ambush in Afghanistan. He named the dog DAISY, after his fallen brothers from that ambush.

A_TALKINGSLUG actually yes many special forces and even non special forces learn how to drive vehicles for many situations my father is an ex royal marine in UK and he was trained to do many high speed vehicle manoeuvres he’s never crashed a car in his life and on his driving license he can drive almost any type of vehicle.

Amazing restraint, he's so calm and stoic with his manner while literally on a high speed chase. I don't know if those people who killed his dog knew it was his house or not but what they didn't know is that when they killed his service dog, it was like they killed his fallen brothers all over again as well as his dog. They are lucky to be alive, lucky that he called it in, lucky he stayed on their ass to capture them and lucky he didn't retaliate in any other way, shape or form. Because we all know he could've made them all disappear without a trace.

So insane to hear the calmness in his voice going 100 mph chasing someone. The adrenaline isn't even pumping cause he so trained and endured a millions times worse situation.

His dog, was a PTSD service dog he got as part of his recovery program when he came back. Her name was DASY, which was an acronym for the brothers of his squad that past away during the operation they made a movie about. I am a vet, and this makes me tear up.

Guys who are already in peak physical condition and have a particular skill that they are one of the best at and that delta felt was necessary to have on the team

Brian Morrison a quick google search will tell you they were ambushed by about 50 taliban. Not 7 or 8. I do agree that films should not be interpreted as documentaries, but surviving an ambush from 50 taliban with AK’s is nothing to scoff at.
