March Machine Mania is here!
This is the start of a brand new quest from Insider Connected and we can't wait for everyone to storm the court and participate! We're giving every pinball player across the 🌎 a chance to contribute daily to their state's total and climb up the leaderboards.
Here is how it works:
- Wherever you play and log in via Insider Connected, that is the state you'll be representing.
- Each day, we'll take your high score from each machine you play on and add that score to your state's average for the day.
- You can check the leaderboards daily to see where your state finished, with the rankings split into divisions. No brackets, just leaderboards!
- All players located outside the United States will be playing on our "International Team"
- At the end of each week, badges will be awarded based on where your state finished on the leaderboard.
- In the last week of March, the Top teams will compete for the final badge and see who comes out victorious in March Machine Mania.
- The state's scores are determined by adding up the average high score of each individual title, as a "great game" on TMNT is going to have a much lower score than a "great game" on Godzilla.
- We also want to keep the playing field balanced, so using averages allows all 50 states to be competitive and won't be significantly impacted by states with higher populations.
- We also have triggers in place if anyone decides to get a bit cheeky and run up the scores using an "unfair method." Any scores that are deemed abnormally high on a specific title won't be counted...so don't bother trying to take the glass off!
Scoring aside, all you need to do to compete is simply scan in using the Insider Connected App, play, and HAVE FUN. 🏀
