Enchanted by the background piano and singer, puzzling, wondering, who? :) I must admit I feel shy-reticent to even look at your ratings, they are so personal to "you" but as always your are so balanced, kind and fair. I'm so grateful to your channel for introducing me to Forestella, I re-watch their Scarborough Fair often and I'm really enjoying your analysis of their 9 part (Opus?). I'm definitely drawn to wordsmiths, lyricists, storyteller's and stream of conscious style writing. Thank you for another great month of old and new music, singers, and genuine artists.

@@SirHairless Thank you for the link to "Evergreen- En Douce" The melody was with me all day---I knew it was French but I was also getting Celtic-Gaelic vibes. I really like it and reminds me of a wooden music box, cobblestone streets, wildflowers. :)

Both versions are lovely and the instrumentals of the live performance are simply delightful❣‘En douce’ found its place in my mind on the same corner where reside some gentle/delicate songs I’ve loved for a long time, such as “Belle” by Zaz (from the French movie “Belle et Sébastien”). Merci beaucoup, Monsieur!😊 P.S.: I’m still trying to recover from the emotional rush I felt yesterday with Jacob Collier’s latest Mahogany session release: a lovely cover of the classic ‘Hyperballad’ by my beloved Goodness Björk… have you seen it? I find them both so emotional and powerful I think 0.25 increments is the smallest I can go, but if I could go lower I would probably rate Ikanaide more around 9.30 and Marigolds more around 9.15

Personal, i would give little more credit to Helplessly hoping. Cause when i wake Up in the morning and have These voices with that Song in my head, it will be hard to Ruin the day but in General i agree

Part of why I always look forward to this each month is to listen to the background music selection wondered if Stephen Sanchez or Adam Melchor would turn up, but this was a very pretty song and voice. Didn’t understand it, but very nice regardless 🎶

I try to choose music that isn't copyrighted for these videos, which makes my selection extremely limited. It often takes 5-10 uploads to find an un-copyrighted bit of music (as I'm only informed of copyright restrictions once I've uploaded the video to the platform ). If it’s available, maybe your mystery musician from some of the previous months’ reviews could make a return? And I’ll go take a closer look at the information about the live version of the Feb artist as well. Oh! Can I ask about the one blocked upload on Patreon? @@SirHairless ooh, thank you for the link to Jacob’s music! He has a very nice high range… love the dragon (?) wings..subbed. I knew I wasn’t very clear in my question about Patreon…I understand the different tiers, as in KZread, I wondered if it’s allowed to join both? Redundant except for access to blocked content on Patreon v giving up all my eggs .. I’m having trouble deciding between.. so pondered ‘and’ rather than ‘or’. But if I did opt for ‘and’ I wasn’t sure if that’s even an option you’re okay with. I’m still pondering it, haven’t decided. I’m an odd duck, for sure

I cant help but notice all of your ratings for all three Cant Help Falling in Love covers are exactly the same score. Was that a coincidence that they all got 9 or is that your way of making sure fan wars dont break out in the comment section? Haha

And as for PTX and VoicePlay, these are my honest ratings, each for their different reasons 👍🏽 As much as I don't want to see fan wars going on in the comments (well, just not the ones where things turn a little bit nasty 😅), I won't change my ratings for that
