He learned this song by listening to a recording by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. Marcelito makes it easy because he can. He is a singing angel on earth. For me, this is his absolute masterpiece, something of crystal clear sung, the bright madness. I can't really think of a second person who can do it better.

me too, I never get tired of it for two days now and I already knew the song but I notice how he sometimes sings with full power and then the next moment, all tenderness... I start to wonder now if he is in fact not very comparable to Dimash in skill. Both of them seem to have sung more than anything else in their life.

Fun facts about Marcelito, he is completely self taught. He is singing in two registers, Tenor and Counter Tenor (female voice), two styles, Opera and Pop, in two languages, not his own, English and very. Very good Italian, And he's SITTING down. My 102 year old Sicilian Grand Mother declared him to be a gift from God after listening to this.

Yeah,esp.the shock factor..

It's still a falsetto voice but he manages to give it texture so that it gives the impression that it's female range. In other words, his vocal chords produces enough vibration so that it doesn't sound like a falsetto. I used to sing but I or anybody I knew can do as Pomoy does with his voice. He truly is unique.

Macelito's "female" voice is NOT falsetto. If you want proof, listen to him sing "The Power of Love". A male singer can not do what Macelito does with that song by singing in falsetto.

Gamitin nyo ang proud to be pinoy kung national pride achievement lang, for example, kung naging most powerful country na ang pinas o naging pinakamayaman na bansa. Hindi yung may magaling tumambling na pinoy, proud na kayo agad. Anong kinalaman ng galing ni pomoy sa kanta o galing ni Pacquiao sa boxing sa national pride? Di nyo ba makita na nagsisilayas na ang mga pinoy palabas ng bansa para lang mabuhay? Ano ang proud dyan? Ang pagtuunan nyo ng pansin yung mga nakakahiya sa pinas cause I promise you mas gaganahan kayo baguhin ang pinas. Halimbawa, isa sa most corrupt country in the world ang pinas. I know this being a Canadian. Di pa ako nakarinig dito na nagsabi na proud to be Canadian dahil sa magaling na singer si Celine Dion. Take note we are talking about the one and only Celine Dion who is a Canadian. Alam ng mga Americans at Canadians kung kelan lang sasabihin na proud sila dahil sa bansa nila at hindi parang basura na kung saan saan lang tinatapon. Baka sabihin naman ng iba dito mayabang tayo dahil nasa ibang bansa. But... his way to getting his voice is sad and tragic. His mother died after the birth of him and only his dad was left. He was in prison though and marcelito had to go stay for 2 years in prison until he was "adopted" by a police guard. At the age of 9, he realized that he and she were not his parents and ran away. He lived most of his life in th streets, selling food just to survive. He was lucky over time and he was able to get a house and have a kid and a wife. He was the winner of Phillipines Got Talent and has now reconciled with his father.
