He is seating down. He singing in two different languages (English and Italian) that is not his own. No formal voice training and self taught. Makes him a remarkable singer blessed by God.

What’s even more amazing, Marcelito raised himself on the street from the age of seven…no vocal training, self taught. Also, he’s singing in English and Italian which neither is his native language. Next should be “Con te Partiro” on AGT the Champions. Great reaction! 👍

Marcelito makes it easy because he can. He is a singing angel on earth. For me, this is his absolute masterpiece, something of crystal clear sung, the bright madness. I can't really think of a second person who can do it better.

Listening to Marcelito is addictive..his range and skill are amazing..he is not only talented, but also a really kind and caring person..look at his other performances..there is nothing he can't sing..

As a comparison I watched Celina and Andrea sing this live and Marcellitos performance is soooooooo much better , at least to my untrained ear. He is truly remarkable and that grin at the end is just gorgeous. As he is singing in two foreign languages as well, which C and A are not, that makes him faultless for me!!

Liza, great reaction. I have watched reactions to this performance maybe 60 times - it is so much fun. By now I'm sure you know a bit about Marcelito. If I may, I'd like to share my thoughts after studying a good deal of his work. I describe his talent in this way: he has a completely unique memory that allows him to capture every nuance that he hears and then his magnificent voice allows him to reproduce it precisely. That explains his unusual ability to create a purely female voice. I have heard no other male singer that can actually produce that unmistakably feminine sound. He has done more than just these two artists. he has at least one album of double overlay recordings where he DOES do the harmonies on famous duets. Amazing. Merry Christmas.

Dear Miss Liza, Here's a brief and condensed version of Marce's history. Not bad for a guy that's never had an academic, formal singing lesson in his life and is completely self-taught. He was born into abject, grinding poverty, comes from the slums of the Philippines and was homeless for many years of his childhood. His lack of proper singing techniques is evident, but he makes up for it with his unwavering desire to become a better Singer, and Musician and his Herculean heart and soul. Tagalog is his native toungue and the national language of the Philippines, English is his second language and the second national language of the Philippines, he taught himself to speak Italian, and Korean as well and he can sing in all four languages. His father was incarcerated and his mother abandoned him to the mean streets when he was still quite young because she couldn't care for all her children. To relieve his hunger, desperation and hopelessness, he would sing. His voice and amazing singing talent is what got him where he is today, successful, a family of his own, happy, and has reunited with his siblings and mother! Through it all, he is dignified, kind, gracious, generous and humble. I have nothing but appreciation and the greatest respect for Mr. Marcelito Pomoy.
