I remember watching Marc’s sets he would livestream himself in a brewery in Dallas for a while. The highlights blew up on Reddit. Now I’m seeing him on tv ads, doing sets with celebs like Wayne Brady or Erika Badu, and he now has millions of well-deserved fans. Marc is a powerhouse. Nothing but respect.

Don't know about the Japanese, but I can tell you that Chinese sailors used qǐng qǐng (请请) as a greeting and Italians picked it up from them because they liked how it sounds like glasses clinking.

Chin chin is just the sound of glass hitting. Pretty sure it's as french as it is italian. Also yes, ちんちん (chinchin) in japanese is like a "child-like" way of saying penis, like "pee-pee". Comes from ちんこ (chinko) which means penis.

Marc is exactly the kind of person I would imagine being amazing at giving out positive vibes (and hence being a gecko naturally). This is great.

The chemistry between Geck and Marc is amazing, I want a second podcast of them 😂

I felt for that girl who called in. I turned 31 last month and I haven't had a single person in my life except for my mom in almost 11 years and I gotta say. Sometimes whatever you do to put yourself out there, most people just dont give a shit and you dont connect with people because that is the way it is for people like us. I'm not happy about not having loved ones and friends but I'm becoming more apathetic towards it. Now I go to concerts on my own, i rock climb at a gym and I have a full time job where i meet people all the time but never connect with a single person. I started online dating a year ago and I've been on one date that was a complete farce. I just deleted the app today and I'm going to keep working on myself but for now, just me.
