I moved to LA after graduating college in NY. Had a great resume, really hard worker, stellar attitude, talented, great references ... the whole deal. I couldn't find a job in the film/tv industry for a year, which I eventually lost. Absolutely destroyed me as a human being. No friends, no family, no successes. What Marc says @ 9:37 and what his podcast did for him, did the same for me. Listening to his interviews, hearing their struggles gave me a peace of mind and hope. I started doing stand-up, wrote a pilot, and putting together a podcast myself. Thanks Marc
I love Larry's face when Marc implies he is 90 years old.
Love the heck out of Marc Maron. What a great interview!
It's kind of touching to watch this after listening to Marc interview Larry.
Great chemistry between Larry and Marc.
The putting the lightest touch to the till rule applies to Larry's interviewing style.
That was great! Really, they both were
pretty good interview...
Just listened to Larry on Marcs podcast on Audible... had to come look this up... only half way into it, but seemed like it went from awkward to on track pretty quick
His Conan appearances are really funny.
Hahaha, Maron: "If somebody cures cancer or wins an oscar, I want to bring that up." King:(laughing)"Yeah, that's a good idea." This made me laugh so much.
Wow, being an Australian myself. I was saddened and embarrassed that no one laughed at his show. All I can hope it was because it was over 20 years ago ,Marc was in a very dark place in his life. They probably really felt sorry for him... We are very funny and broad minded and love to laugh. That's all I can put it down to....

@Jennifer Garcia It seems you didn't quite watch the interview. Around 25 minutes, there ya go.

good interview, but I find when ever Larry says something it automatically sounds out dated
Larry King doesn't know who brian reagan is ? seriously larry ?

Why should he? When I am LK's age, I hope i have what he does, reagan or not.
The way he attempts to drop rigidly rehearsed bits into conversation as if they're spontaneous... I know it's classic modus operandi for 'comedians' on talk shows, but come on... who's buying this guy?
Maron has always been a d bag.
