10 years later, he is still with us!!! I feel like I am watching his stories unfold before my eyes. What a masterful performer!

I am in awe. I’m a Gen Xer. Not even a Boomer. I first learned about the Sid Caesar show by the movie ‘My Favorite Year’ in the 80s and Mel”s story about visiting Caesar and holding his hand made me smile.

Marcs' problem is he has to appear smart. Unfortunately no one whos driven by way is neither smart nor interesting. A lot of these interviews are gold but it ends up being an exercise of praying the guest doesnt get cut off

Marc, I "discovered" you on Conan - (Conan and Andy, your best foils) - and you've become one of my favorite people. Mel, of course, is one of my media heroes, a guy I always run to when I'm in the throes of depression. Thanks for these great interviews!

The wartime megaphone retort to the singing German across the river. The Gig Young story, and the band name, Mel and the 5 wife beaters! I saw Blazing Saddles, Silent Movie and Young Frankenstein in the movies on the big screen- more event than a movie in each case!

What's with all these showbiz Jews? No regard or belief in a Creator God, golden rule, moral absolutes, etc. They should just call themselves atheists and be done with it.

The golden rule is not a theism, At its foundation it doesn't have anything to do with God Or no God. It's essential humanism.
