Marbling on Leather

This video is designed to give a quick overview on how to add a marbling effect to your leather projects. Filmed in 2020 following a Facebook Live session. The Botannical Eco White leather and water based leather stains used are available from our website www.identityleathercraft.com. Note: this is a little bit messy!

How well does it hold up over time and do you need to do any kind of sealing once it’s dried?

Because we used the Identity Store water based leather stains to do this they hold up well over time. They can be sealed with Supershene, (Eco product) or Identity Permacoat. If you do the olive oil method then use Collonil Protect and Care (eco) or Carnuaba Cream. Make sure they are totally dry before applications. Buff your finish once dry.
