    As much I try twice at 50 + years of age a 26.2 miles run of tcs nyc marathon event but I should have prepare my body condition in a different way and maybe the injury that happened to me on both event would have not happen and yea I did finish a run to earn a medal of 50 years of running now 👍

    What’s the best way to scale distance runs. I have almost exclusively done 1 mile runs as a bigger person. I’ve lost a good amount of weight and am at a good weight now. I wanted to see where I was at so I recently did a 5K and then a 10K a couple days later at a slow pace no stops no walking. Ended up with some knee pain and had take a week and focus on yoga to try and cut it off. I’m 28 weeks out right now.

    Knee was likely either runners knee or it band syndrom but I’ve had some knee injuries and general problems in the past
