It was great - until the video quality dropped so crazily! Miss Safin, so great to watch.

Lol, looking at these highlights it feels as if Sampras was winning not Safin.

Safin winning the US Open against Sampras was a little bit like Boris Becker's first Wimbledon crown. You think "Wow, this kid will dominate for years". And then he stays relevant and one of the best but seems to never fully realize his potential.

Safin admitted once that he had a little too much fun, but not as bad as Kyrios.

Safin is still one of my favorite players to watch, so much skill!

They are showing virtually no Safin winners. Most of the match was safin hitting passing shots

If you're going to use HD CBS footage, you'll need to show it in widescreen. I know it exists, you're just covering it up with those blue bars. Re-upload this in widescreen, please, and cover up that CBS watermark.

This was the beginning of the dominance of the baseline style of player. Unfortunately pete sampras was a dying breed of serve and volley

1. I originally thought that they upscaled this footage with AI too, but no, this is raw. They took this footage straight from CBS, you can see a faint CBS watermark on the top right corner. They covered up the watermark, and potential wide screen, with those blue bars on the side of the screen. 2. I can't answer this one.

No scores and that video feed changes from a clear one that was recorded on bunny ears. Do better US Open.
