Just found this video. I’m interested in a crossrunner and a cb1100 so it was particularly useful for me, .. Well made and you did actually mention several things that other reviews have completely ignored. Funny too, beast from the east and shit from the south made me snort my coffee 😀 subscribed, thanks.
Great video guys; have been using Custom Fit Guards for a couple of years now and would highly recommend them. Cheers, Andy
Nice vid. I liked how you just gave up blurring out your mates license plate :)
Good review, Good camera work. Nice background music.

That was sarcasm surely. Never seen this many wankers captured together in the wild.
Never start filming outside your own house, you’re telling the whole world exactly where you live. (There are bad elementals in this world) 👍
What’s the lights like at night? Great video 👍🏍
Nice bike, very comfy and enough power for most situations but a really poor headlamp beam which is fixed being a LED design.
Enjoyable review. Another Crossrunner 6-month reviewer mentioned that the cowling suffers from heavy vibration over rougher road surfaces or when the engine is under heavier load, e.g. when accelerating from low revs in 4th. Is this something you (Pete) have found, too?

Hi Len, I've found there is a bit of vibration in the cowling when riding over rough road surfaces but nothing particularly heavy. I think if the cowl was too rigid there might be a danger of parts shaking loose so it's obviously been worked into the design.

Thanks Pete. You make a very good point.
Greetings. Really nice video. Need a little help. I m between this crossrunner and crf1000 africa twin. Which one do you suggest for commuting and weekends rides? Maybe one or two big trips inside country per year.thank you in advance

Hey! Unfortunately, this is all down to personal taste. Both bikes will be able to do all the things you listed with ease! Personally, I'd go for the Africa Twin. I like the looks of the machine and feel that it would be just a little more comfortable/capable for longer tours. However, the best thing to do is to take both out for a test ride. You'll know in moments what works for you!

@@MAPPED special thanks for your fast reply. Really helpfull . Keep doing your great work. Kind regards.🙏
Nice review. But, you need to angle the camera up a bit imo. We see a little too much dash and not enough of the road ahead a lot of the time. Keep 'em comin :)

RetroBiker yes, you're quite right...Pete is still using Cal's helmet/camera set up. We are aware and will get it sorted! Thanks again!

Thought the angle was good to see what the rider sees dash and road ahead rather than just the road. I wanna see the bike.
Three years later hers a thumbs up. Still got the Crossrunner..? It's top of my wish list to replace my 4 year old NC750X. Similar but different and in comparison to other makes is value for money.
That bike sucks up those speed bumps nicely.
Just bought one not rode it yet just got rid of a varadero 1000 big fuel guzzler.
I'm quite keen on one of these. What is that screen? And how tall are you roughly? i'm 6'6" and have had test rides, but nothing long distance.

Hey - Pete is 6'3" and gets on with the bike well - but he did pick up a spoiler for the screen for additional protection!

@@MAPPED Seems like what I'll have to do for most bikes anyway. Much obliged.
Terrible audio, no rhythm at all just one guy filling the tank and blabbering about a motorbike.
