I'm almost 30 years old.. this music throw me back in time when life was so magical. and life was carefree and happy every day throughout all my childhood (and i guess yours too). I wish I could go back in time when I was 12 and stay there forever.. this is the most amazing timeline in my life and this game gift me the most amazing memories of my childhood, that I miss so much this makes me almost crying like a baby😭😭😭 when i think about this wonderful memories... thank you Nexon for this amazing game in the right time of our life.

Until the Big Bang ruins it and 75% of the maps are gone. Sadge. 😢 I miss old Maple, even though when BB released I still think when looking back, it was great content too in it's own way. I miss spending time with people I met at PQ's so much.

i was a day 1 mapler back in 2003, back if you still remember the tiger era, had to quit though in early 2010 because of academics. this was amazing because i used MS BGMs for studying during my physicians licensure exam, now almost 2 years later as a board certified MD, surely brings back nostalgia. MS has indeed become a part of my life.

I'll miss the days of my Maplestory journey... sucked out my teen years but damn it was quite a ride. Miss you CPQ, KPQ, LMPQ, CPQ 2, ORBISPQ, ARIANT PQ, MOON BUNNY PQ, glove attack quests, getting scammed, meeting and socializing with really nice people, selling items in the FM and actually studying the prices through Basil Market. I actually stalked someone on MS Dizorno83 or Diz83 Ice/Lightning mage have a good life. That being said I can't go back since life has changed in a 'good' way I have more freedom and I'm able to do more real life stuff rather then going to school then coming home to play MS,

The memories make tear up everytime :'))

The nostalgia I experience from even just the sign-in screen is so intense that I can barely continue listening onto other screens. I'm just flooded with so many memories and emotions of my time playing MapleStory during most of my childhood, up until I was even graduating high-school before I finally quit the game. I've been a gamer for 24 years now and there isn't any game out there that kept me entertained for as long as MapleStory did, that allowed me to socialize with other people and make friends. I occasionally think back to all the friends I made throughout my journey, hanging out in Perion channel 1 and then migrating to Henesys whenever that became the next cool spot, after hours of grinding just to get even 50% to the next level.

This is easily my 50th to 60th time coming back and finishing the entire 5 hours while at work! Never gets old! Do more like these for Cygnus/Pantheon too! and maybe some tourism around various locations like Florina Beach and Shrine. This is my favorite working bgm. Always bring me back to childhood. Recall the first time I played MMORPG with my friends. Listening this makes me feel like real life is just another MMORPG. And then, I can be less stressful.

My ex-wife and I used to play this a lot when we were younger and living across Canada when my family moved away. When we reunited again, we'd still listen to the OST from time to time as work, university and bills piled up. I haven't heard this music in like 7 years. It just popped up on my feed after listening to some piano player stream a 110 minute performance of Chrono music. This evening as I watch the sunset from my window over the city is just full of old, good memories of more carefree times.

Thanks for assembling so many great tracks into one video c: I've actually never had an opportunity to experience Maplestory (I was born in 2003 lol) but having all these visuals tied to the music really gives me a greater sense and feel of what this game was like, more than just listening to the music by itself (I found Raindrop Flower on some roblox game and I was just so in love with it that I stumbled across the rest of the ost- such amazing stuff!!!) So anyways, think you for providing this space to allow me to see how this game has touched the lives of so many other people

@@venti9925 woah, another immigrant from Maple! Yes, I too find myself playing MS OSTs while playing Genshin LOL. I actually quit maple because of Genshin, and this whole playlist which I’ve only found today made me feel a tad bit guilty haha.

OMG Memories, the good old days. I remember when there was no 3rd job, grinding all the way up to high levels in order to beat Zakum and get my helmet. :-) Those days were fun, and then the Ludi PQ, awesome.

Just... a memory of an easier time. Before illness took friends, before life kicked me around. Here I am.. 32 years old now, nearly 20 years after I first logged into Bera. I still remember so many things, and so many friends. The music resonates with my soul, and a good part of why I look back fondly. A shame, as Nexon's greed ruined what was once a home for many of us. When school was brutal, or we were outcasts, or our homes were garbage... Maplestory brought us together. I sit here at my desk at work, wondering what happened to all the time, and smiel.. knowing my closest friend from those days I still game with daily. A tear falls, as the child in me just wants to run home, log in, and do MCPQ all over again.

I never played Maple Story; but a great part of my childhood was all about Ragnarok Online. Just reading through the comments of all the people here - the fondest memories that this music sparks - it is so easy for me to sympathize with that. It feels just the same to me when Streamside or Peaceful Forest play. The early-game, noob-time tracks always do it the most. Not sure if it's the music itself or some definite similarities in style - but this soundtrack just reeks of nostalgia. I played Maple very actively back in 2005-2008 and the newest content that I've known of back then was Leafre and it's absolutely crazy to me when I'm looking at the game now. It's like a completely different game with all this new stuff, mechanics, functions & that insane amount of classes! Back then we only had the 4 original classes with Pirates coming as the 5th one when I quit the game, cuz I was hacked & lost everything. Who knows how much longer I would've played Maple if I wasn't hacked back then? But either way, I'll never forget my Maple time back then... I will always look back at it very fondly... Those were good times, man!

2005 I saw an advertisement for maplestory within a ShonenJump magazine. played until 2008 daily. then returned in 2010 to slowly just never play it again. every year around christmas i seem to redownload maple to see how things are going.

oh the nostalgia it’s overwhelming.

Its not dead you know...

I was always a huge fan of Runescape and have played it since 4th grade along with Maplestory. I, of course, have fond memories of both but for some reason the Maplestory memories are so much brighter and cheerful and happy. There wasn't much information pre- BB so everything was so mysterious and the world seemed MASSIVE and it really is. Every now and then I will log on to rekindle those memories and work towards goals I never was able to complete as a kid but it's just not the same :(

I've only played the original MS once, until yesterday. This compilation really took me on a journey and when it ended, I was sadder than I thought I would be. I think this is because the era of the original MS is gone and the only way we can experience it is through fan servers that are kept alive by people who played when they were kids. It's quite melancholy.

MapleStoryM is out (and yes, still a ridiculous download) make sure you have 5gigs free space on your mobile. They did a swell job on transitioning MS from the old DSL PC days to our current mobile-hooked society. Im 40 and MapleStory Ride or Die!

I wish they made a maplestory like the basic one, in where you cant pay to win, only to cuztomize and perhaps monthly for the admins and programers. We're all adults or getting up there. We miss the peace, and excitement. Now we have the fast internet, and money, but less time. However, I wouldnt mind a maplestory designed for us. Obviously its complicated, but come on man, we need to dream again! We need to level up, connect with interesting players from other part of the world, go on quests, join a guild... Good times :)

This unlocked so many memories ^_^

It feels so good to imagine how proud 12 year old me would be if he saw this version of me :)

Say what you want about this game in all other aspects, it's music was/is fire and I'll go to bat for it.
