So this year I went back into the Sugarbush for a second attempt at making maple syrup....armed with what I learned last year. Collected a lot more sap and had a thermometer for measuring the syrup temperature. The results were amazing and the taste was unique and different than maple syrup I have bought in the store. Next year I am hoping to get others involved and make a larger amount. Everyone should try making maple syrup....a fun and rewarding experience!!
