Piko gives you love bites so cute. Maple did heal so quickly from her surgery. I was worried when my cat Sophie had her spaying too. She was so upset the day I brought her home as she went with a bunch of kittens from the rescue I adopted her from so I was not there for her when she woke up. She calmed down in the car but wanted out of her carrier. As she was so upset and I am sure in pain, I let her out and she laid on my lap all the way home. Maple is so pretty and a handful. My cat Sophie makes me laugh every day. Last night I was making dinner and went to sit down in my spot and Sophie had stolen it. It was the first time she ever did that in 4 years. She did not want to move either. Wanted to fight me for the spot. lol

So glad that she is doing well and that they like their tower🐈🌟🐈‍⬛💝🙏

Piko might be holding onto your hand for reassurance. He might still be feeling insecure with Maple there. Then you moved your hand :P You're not allowed to move!! :D

I have found that sometimes cats will nip at hands to warn me off (especially for too much petting) and other times to keep me from removing my hand, like Piko did with you. It's important to view it in the totality of their body language, especially the movements of their tails, with which they emphasize much of their emotions (just as we do with our faces.)

Maple is sooo pretty and so tough so if Piko, have the best time ever!

Piko isn't biting, he's giving you a wash-nip to tell you he loves you. All cats do it. Remember not to disturb either Piko or Maple when they are napping. They need their space. Go out somewhere for the day, and you'll see how much Maple and Piko appreciate it when you don't constantly pet them.
