If Maple and Piko say no, they mean no. Don't annoy them. Time the black cat learned to go elsewhere. Maple was nipping not biting, there's a difference between the two. When a cat bites, he usually draws a bit of blood. If he nips, he says you are his friend as long as you understand he needs his own space.

I see it's not only Maple messin' with Piko's tail that annoys him. I think sometimes Piko is just "Annoyed!" Ha!

I would leave food and water for the black cat everyday. I feed the strays here in my apartment complex. I hardly see them, but the bowl is clean every morning. I have done this for years as I hate to think of any animal without food and water. I did get a calico cat and her kittens all adopted since I would feed her daily and come to find out my neighbor was feeding her also. My neighbor adopted her, she is fixed and lives a wonderful indoor life now. It gets so hot here in Florida that fresh water for them is so important. You aggravated poor Piko. He seems to be in pain, poor thing.
