Many migrants and refugees choosing to stay in Libya

Libya is one of the main transit hubs for many African migrants and refugees trying to reach Europe by crossing the Mediterranean.
But some say they hope to find job opportunities and a stable income in the North African country.
Al Jazeera’s Malik Traina has more from Misrata, Libya.

Unfortunately despite all these situations of hopelessness that make people to flee, instead of shaping atmosphere where people can hope, can feel they are not left behind, etc some people in this Africa have organised themselves in making destruction and deprivation a principle, they use to ruin lives. Instead of humility so the common good can reach everyone, the common good is perceived and conceived as a private property of which many must suffer. Thus, life for many becomes a sort of condemnation.

People have a lot of misconceptions when it comes to the mideiterranean sea, you think it’s an easy trip, Libya will not leave them cross because they will end up dead in the sea, educate yourself on how huge and deep is the sea, also the human right and freedom in Europe is nothing but a lie, and Libya is filled with criminals post war, if Libya gets more stable, these immigrants have better future in Libya than Europe. Libya Tax free, healthcare is free or very affordable, and the Libyan dinar is strong, gas is cheap, universities are free for international students, it’s has decent infrastructure, however Libya still needs more work and build up, but in the future I hope that we reach a level of prosperity and stability that will better the lives of our African brothers and sisters and any immigrants who choose to live in Libya.

But, US, UK, France and Gulf countries hated that and started to spread propaganda all across the Arab World and even the whole world. That's why I'm laughing when seeing UK and France are full of economic migrants (mostly from Subsaharan and others such as Pakistani, Moroccans, Egyptians, etc.) now. His best friend is an African guy. The types of African men who are refugees in Libya is difference quality man than man who go further out with flight tickets and self sponsored. That's why cultures clash.

Also, if you go to Arab countries as low skilled worker, you will get mistreated. But if you go as a high skilled worker, you will be respected.
