Still looking really good. He 's a great blues singer.
Such a great singer…he does not as much notice as he should have. He made those MANFRED MANN hits!

Paul Jones was my crush in the 60's. And doesn't he look great. ❤
Probably the most underrated genius of British blues . Legend Paul keep on rocking great talent from Manfred Mann to The Blues Band and beyond.

I met Paul and his wife a few years ago when they came to our church for ‘an evening with’. Lovely couple.

The interviewer did a good job here. Kept the conversation on track.
Hi Paul, great interview. Many years ago I was at St Johns College in Southsea. I remember hearing music being played the building called St Ann's. Looking through the history of SJC. I found a section for famous pupils - Mike Hugg It all fell into place ! Fond memories of yourself dedicating your show to the memory of my late wife Sue in 2009 at Stevenage. Regards Robin Howes

See them at the Marquee Wardour Street 1964 they were great then.
Humble. Great feller tops live
I wish I could describe the impact Mr. Jones has had on my life as a listener of music. Yes, I go back to the MM days, but the album cuts were out of this world! Hubble Bubble and Without You probably rank at the top of my list. Mann Made (in stereo) was the best album I've ever listened to (over and over). Thanks for the interview, and thanks for the music. Will seek out his latest blues CD right away.
Paul had a great weekly Blues show on BBC Radio 2 that I really used to enjoy listening to… his knowledge of the Blues is encyclopaedic & apart from the great music he played there were many interesting interviews with musicians. Unfortunately the BBC decided he was too ‘male, pale, and stale’ for the audience they wanted to attract - never mind the loyal (probably older) audience Paul had, so he was out & Cerys Matthews was in. I gave her show a couple of listens but it wasn’t a patch on Paul’s programme, so that was me finished with Radio 2 - which I guess the BBC would see as mission accomplished as at 73 I’m also ‘male, pale & stale’!
