Really miss Chicharito. All his goals were unreal, unbelievable. Just see the 3 goals against Aston Villa and the winning goal against New Castle. Really a brilliant guy to watch back in those days.

Just shows how important Chicha was for us.

That was what he had that no other manager had. Sir Alex could relate to average players. Give them confidence. Example of Uniteds average players John o'shea. Wes brown. Alan Smith. David may. Jasper Blomqvist. Kleberson. Anderson. He turned these average players into world beaters.

Selling Kagawa and Chicharito was a huge mistake, team ended up crying out for those kinds of players. Even now we could still use a creative player who could make sure the game ticks over and a ruthless finisher.

Am I the only one who thinks it's interesting how Chicharito wore 14 and was the comeback king, and Jesse Lingard wears 14 and was the Super Sub for Man Utd 2017/18 season, as well as winning us the community shield and the FA Cup.

I remember that 4-3 game/first 35 minutes against Reading very well. I don't think I've ever seen such a manic period of time in a football match, certainly as a United fan. The only thing that comes close ironically was against Reading in the FA Cup 2007 when we went 3-0 up in the first six minutes, and in fact nearly made it four in ten minutes. Utterly crazy. Reading nearly came back in that one.
