Sure Man City lost Shaw, but Chelsea lost some big time players to injury as well (Kerr). Chelsea still managed to use what they had to definitively get the job done. Man City had their chance against Arsenal and blew it.

Chelsea had replacement strikers. Even though aren't Sam Kerr Caliber players. They have strikes. Man City doesn't have any constant strikes other than Shaw. That is a failure of Taylor. City was to Bunny depended with no secondary plan.

@@niotnt9779chelsea lost all her strikers to injury. Mia Fisher, Kerr, macario. Macario returned from her long term injury in February (mid season) Fisher never touch the grass in 2024. Ramirez just returned from her few week lay off due to injury. Don’t let us go to chelsea injuries in the defence line. The list go on and on. Without injury on both team, chelsea women are a edge ahead of city in terms of quality and squad depth

@@adenijisolomon9531 Macario isn't a strike. Fisher wasn't constant when she was playing. Ramirez was a late arrival but was better than Fisher. Yes, Chelsea had depth and quality. I give them all the Credit. The Top European Feminine and men have to depth and quality. You almost need 22 players plus subs. Just to compete for all the trophies, because of the schedules (domestic & International games) That is why most sports pundits complained about Man City's feminine and G Taylor only signed J Rood this offseason. That is a Failure of City and Taylor. No Replacement. Further Note Bunny wasn't in full health halfway through the season.

Weird watching the losing team consoling the winning team. But Man City ultimately lost the title.

It seems to me this coach never saw Yui play with Milan or WH, in offense she is way better shooter, passer and dribbler that most in that team, and almost all game there are six or seven players playing offense, I commented in another video about two or so months ago that Shaw is a good player but she don't pass to wide open teammates and that all of those missing chances were going to make a difference, guess what.

@@RobinC63 I think it is hard to replace her in defense because she is very good and usually gives the team a clean way out from the back, but I think this team would be so much better in offense with her up front, there is a Shaw fan bragging to me about her being named player of the year and calling me bias and insinuating that is a racial issue because i said that if she ever learn to pass she would be a great player, that now she is good not great, that if she pass the team would score quite a lot more goals and the title race could be decided by goals difference, it sucks that they fell short and we will see what happen next year, with Yui i don't think she will ever get the recognition she deserves, I think she is easily top five in the world, but defensive players hardly ever get it, just wonder what could have been with her more involved in offense.

City will need to upgrade fowlers contract ASAP. Elite Technical ability, Timing and an ability to set up sitters for her teammates. Found myself thinking just shoot Mary!! Especially from outside the box - she has lethal power..instead she wants to set up her teammates for a slightly better shot. Which is great but dang...you gotta be selfish more often than not with the arsenals you posess.

Played like England on a weak day again. Too little attack, and the defence gets penetrated by fast attackers near the end. Too much emphasis on possession and passing and not enough training practice on hitting balls into goal - not over it, by it, or at the goal keeper. Again like England , over uses and wears out Lauren , and doesnt know how to use Kelly to the full. . They started the season with a decent strategy with the 2 England winners feeding Shaw, but then its thrown out. We had the pressure on Kelly to sign a contract a year early and her being benched, Fowler as a weaker winger , and Shaw breaking after being overused and repeatedly carrying injuries, And then they deploy Kelly as a centre forward, limited the attacks more to Hemps wing , They essentially didnt have and then cant find a ready replacement for Shaw and dont use Fowler there , even after she showed she was a possible replacement. It looked like England in the world cup.Players confused by ever changing roles and strategies. Key players with no replacements- more reliance on players who can make headers , like a Shaw, Mead or Bright, , with no one left to score those as well, And a great defence that made crucial mistakes against fast attackers running behind it when things looked won.

Im a male Villa fan. I must say : Im really gutted for Man City Ladies I really feel that they should.....of won the league, this time Lauren Hemp. My fave player, bar none. Brilliant intensity, dribbling ability, and pace. Wonderful player. 🤝❤️

It was live on the BBC... I wanted Manchester city to win the title.... It really was a game of missed opportunities, the cross bar was hit twice and about six clear cut chances not converted... In all truth the arsenal match is why Man city lost the title, not Aston villa game... It was still a very entertaining game...

City have had a great season, gutted for them that they came so close but didn't manage to land a trophy. A very young squad, that will hopefully learn from this and come back better next season. It was wonderful to see their commitment and energy for the full 90+ minutes at Villa.
