to be fair, they aren't strikers. but Mary is amazing. the first goal is a rocket, like the one she scored against Taipei for the Matildas. superstar indeed!

Mary fowler. All the talent in the world. Amazing vision and ball control. Above average striker with with both feet and can set it up on a dime for her teammates. Doesnt demand to be picked but bides her time if its best for the team. ...her worst feature is her non-extravagant celebration after scoring, but thats why shes awesome as by now its dawned on Taylor.

Fowler has everything in skill, her time is coming to be one of the best. Great to see her believing in her talent.

Yeah about time. I'm a big Mary Fowler fan too. I thought she we brilliant in the World Cup despite going into the tournament with very little game time at Man City. I hope she kicks on from here and becomes the dominant world-class player she is supposed to be.

Got to have Fowler in behind as she creates more chances and Shaw is a straight up finisher. Fowler could have had about 5 assists in this game.

no one would let themselves beat when they get nothing positive out of the situation, they can't even get 2nd place but they are an established club who wouldn't lose just for their city rivals to not win the title. it will be very difficult for City, they've done well this season against the top4 but I can see a draw next week unfortunately.
