Rashford with a straight face has said people are out of order for questioning his commitment to Utd. A month after, partying in another country the night before training, calling in sick, lying that he wasn't out, being caught out and refusing to apologize to Utd Fanbase, his teammates and to his manager. You can't make this up and Utd fanbase had enough of it.

The reality is Rashford only has one move. Cut inside onto his right foot and wildly shoot. If he’s not playing off the opposing right backs shoulder on the counterattack and played into space, he’s useless. The media built him up to be a player he categorically is not. He’s not a possession player who can play in tight spaces, his decision making is slow, he constantly turns the ball over making simple passes, he routinely gives away the ball dribbling blindly with his head down, he virtually always ignores the overlapping player providing support, his approach angles when “pressing” are lazy, he doesn’t track back, and he constantly leaves the left back in matchup nightmares because he never helps them. If you are actually being the least bit objective watching Rashford, there is absolutely no way he would get remotely close to playing for the other Top 6 sides. I find myself genuinely wondering more and more if successive managers, including Ten Hag, have been forced into starting Rashford for media and marketing reasons by United’s higher ups. Because it is downright bizarre that 5 successive managers at United have tried to build teams around a player who is not that guy. It does not make sense and feels like the definition of insanity watching him year after year.

I stopped watching Utd a couple of years before Ferguson left. I lost interest in football. The last couple of years I've been watching again, and I have to say, I can't believe the hype around Rashford. The guy is absolute trash. He acts like a sulky teenager off and on the pitch. He is a complete disgrace to the club. I can't believe a player like him is on those wages and has all this constant support. He's not a patch on any of the United players I grew up with. The day the club finally see's sense and gets rid I'm having a few drinks to celebrate.

Even on a free transfer Rashford isn't a really good deal. But United will expect a 75-100m transfer fee on top of his massive wages and then will just tell their fans they had no choice but to keep Rashford because no one would make them a "fair" offer.

I still think with the right guidance there's a good player there. He clearly has a good shot, touch and dribble on him. He fails in tracking back, work rate and being too one dimensional. Those things can be worked on, even in later years

@Opensesame_2030 This is nothing new. Rashford has been like this for years. Even preceding Ten Hag. His attitude and basic lack of effort have been evident for years to anyone being objective watching him. The difference last year was his goals generally covered up 89 minutes of mediocre to very poor all around play. Without the goals as cover this season, the media have to start reporting on Rashford as he actually is as a player. Because this is nothing new.

Most seasons when not out for long periods with injury he has comfortably got many more goals than that. To such extent that United fans have been spoilt. You seem to want him to play as a wingback. That’s just silly. Ten Hag wants to conserve him for explosive runs forwards. If the rest of the team was playing more intelligibly or if he had Martial upfront to release him the ball to him at the right time and a left back behind him - hasn’t had a fit one for most of the season - Rashford would have scored more goals. No I don’t want Rashford constantly sprinting back. I want to unleash him FORWARDS. But to do that effectively you need to release the ball more intelligently to him to match his runs than has been the case this season.
