There’s actually a story similar to this, even a movie. The movie itself is titled, “Jungle.” Pretty interesting as well. Three tourist, Yossi, Marcus Stamm, and Kevin Gale are lured into taking a journey with an “american” tour guide named Karl. Watch the movie if you want more details.

That's based on Yossi Ghinsberg's trip in 1981, long before Davey went. Also two different countries. Yossi was Bolivia, Davey Peru. Davey on the Amazon River, Yossi on one of the many tributaries that lead to the Amazon River itself. Similar stories of being lost in the jungles of the Amazon region, but different. Though to be fair, people who are lost in the Amazon, those who never come back, I suspect their stories are a lot like either of the two above, these are only the ones who survived to tell what happened. I imagine those who never came back reached the end that these two didn't but almost did.

@@fionapowell8741 yes, they do exist, production was from 1936-1955 and very few were made. Think most of us are just "giving guff" about it due to how it's so very, very uncommon/ unlikely. *My personal opinion* is, that's odd for an lowly River Pirate to have a weapon so rare/valuable. That's all.
Another amazing story. I just love this channel. Keep pumping out this awesome content and I really wouldn't mind to see another challenge. Surviving on Bahamas perhaps? ;)

This story is a prime example of both the dark side of humanity and the Best part of it. I've seen many poor people in my lifetime and I'm still astonished on how kind they can be, way more than the people living in first world countries.

Nightcore House shotguns are 20 gauge 12 gauge or 10 gauge, .22 is a rimfire rifle cartridge, not a shotgun shell

I have no idea why people who don't know anything at all about guns don't spend more than two seconds at least researching them before they reference them, like you should any subject. It's so prevalent when it comes to guns especially. You can bet the people who do that are the loudest, most anti gun people out there too.
