This guy lives a life that most of us can only dream about. There is no feeling in the world like bonding with a wild animal; it touches something deep inside you that nothing else can touch. I hope this man knows how truly blessed he is.

I feel so amazing when a wild animal accepts me. I’ve raised a lot of orphaned animals. It was amazing. I know what you’ve done is amazing.

I wish every animal could be treated just like this wonderful man treated this deer 🦌 God bless all animals. ❤

It's a blessing to gain the trust and love of our wild friends. I have multiple deer herds that visit me every morning and evening. I could never explain the joy that they bring. ❤

No, it's better that Fairy remains free. She should never be anyone's "pet" EVER! If she had come to this man with some injury that would have left her vulnerable, THEN, PERHAPS, he might have cared for her long term. Depending on where this was, the laws might prohibit keeping deer as pets. He's lucky it never came to that. I imagine there would be all sorts I of licensing hurdles he would have had to clear to be a wildlife rehabber. I hope, if I was ever in this situation, I would do as he did. He really made it seem so easy and natural, didn't he?

@@SilverAuntie Yes, he did make it look easy, but it must've been hard to let her go. They seemed to have a bond between them. You made a valid point or two. Some places have restrictions on which animals can be kept as pets. If the animal was hurt, he might have needed to be a certified animal rehab person (I didn't think 🤔 about that). She was so cute and sweet, I was thinking with my heart ♥ and you were being practical. Sigh...I hope the deer is doing well. She knew she was loved...

@@327JohnnySS yes, I've heard that a number of times, and she does come back to visit. If it were too cold or she needed a place to stay and rest, I'd have a place for her. It is illegal to have certain animals as pets, but still...

We have deer here around the property and we put out corn for them so they always have something to eat or a treat for them. Especially in the winter so they always have something. I had a friend who had a baby skunk and had it decented at the vets. He named it B.O. , Short for body odor. Lol

I currently have a rescue deer. Her name is Jane. She’s 2 1/2 years old. She has a 9 month old baby boy named Joey and will have her second baby the last week of June 2024. She’s as wild and free as she chooses to be. She has never been held captive. My love for her is indescribable.

Animals do sense true human love.

We live in a forest and have deer come to our fence every day. What a blessing to see God work like this in our lives ❤. Although not as friendly as Fairy..haha but they love their corn 😊
