So, I bought this fragrance because I liked the smell when I tried a tester at our local base exchange store. When I had the chance to wear it, I put on way too much, probably about 4 sprays. Lol By the time I got to work, I couldn't stand being next to myself. I tried it again today with two sprays...one on my body and one mist on my clothes. It smells wonderful now and I have to say that there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. You don't need or want to use too much of this one. As always, thanks for the review.

Here with Montréal weather we are getting into Bvlgari men in black teritory time to spray away Oh ! how i missed you last couple of month !! Great frag love the pepper smell !!!

I also bought this blind, simply based on the notes. And i'm glad i did. What made me buy it is the similarity to Tom Ford (my favourite brand). It has a level of sophistication that Tom Ford's colognes emit. its not the same level of sophistication, but it is still there and it is also something a lot of colognes don't have. I would say its CAN be an all round year fragrance if worn appropriately and to a suitable occasion. I wear this cologne in the early days of spring, as a transition from winter (Tom Ford Black Orchid + Clive Christian C for Men). The only downside to this is how it starts to smell after 4(ish) hours. It starts to smell like a very casual cologne, one that anyone would wear; the uniqueness of the cologne starts to drift away.

Purchased today!! Superb fragrance and my first cologne with the iris note.

just smelled spicebomb today, i have bvlgari mib in my collection, i felt spicebomb is not as powerful n potent as this, also not as long lasting, i prefer mib over spicebomb, both bottles are gorgeous though, n they smell almost identical from the first spray

first time I smelled and sprayed its quite powerful but now I love the smell, sweet but not sugary, spicy but not overpowering. Minimal spray will do and like the uniqueness of the fragrance. thanks Bvlgari Man in Black and thanks to you.

Really distinctive fragrance that integrates with the natural oils on my own skin, instead of laying its own story on top...or so it seems to me. I get 8-10 hours easily. Dark, leathery, and spicy. Perfect for a mature guy.

Healthrelief Man in black is on the tobacco / spicy side. Code profumo has a sweet vibe like clubbing scents! (1 million like). completely different scents, But I prefer Man in black!!!! it's sexy as fuck! I wore this once to work. i was leaving trails throughout the day! 3 girls asked me about it. definitely my most complimented scent

Yeah Man in Black is my go to school scent. It's 10x better than Eros and Armani Code Profumo, doesn't last as long as those but will still give you 6-8 hours and projection is pretty damn nice. I got 9 girls complimenting me in school in one day when I wore it. I do not regret buying it over Versace Eros. It's pure sexiness and masculinity. Eros is too sweet and minty.

Hello Steven, In a huge fan of your channel and sub...Now when everybody says its Spicebombs older brother , this is minus the cinnamon right? I absolutely love Spicebomb, but the cinnamon can be a bit much at times. If that the case I will buy the biggest bottle!

Great review. I have this one and love it. I bought it after watching Sebastian's review and glad I did. I gave Cleo a heads up on it and she did a wonderful and thorough review. I always love a women's perspective on men's fragrances. I don't really like strong, over-powering scents. The soft leather note is just right for me.

I agree with review awesome buy!! I kinda like these kinda perfumes. I think the maker of this perfume is same who formulated giorgio armani acqua di gio!

I know this is an old review, but it's a good one. I have a 10ml atomizer of this fragrance and I like it. I think it only reminds me of Spicebomb in the opening? I'm still new to fragrance, so not sure of all the terminology. Hmmm maybe a tutorial in the future to explain what a lot of the terms mean? : )

I find it strikingly similar with Chanel Allure Home Sport Eau Extreme with less price and performance. Disclaimer: my Chanel may be a fake one hence my opinions may be erroneous...LoL. They have released an eau de parfum extreme limited edition which is stronger called Man in Black 'All blacks edition' to represent the All Blacks rugby team. The bottle has the etched symbol on the outside. And it lasts longer and is very nice twist on the original

I enjoyed your take on this. I actually reviewed this one a few weeks ago, I find it to be a wearable, accessible leather at a good price range. Though in contrary, I think this would be a nice date scent, it's not offensive and it is a bit alluring and sensual. Well that's a woman's take on this man's fragrance.

I went in to a store to test this fragrance. I sprayed it on a sample card and my wrist. I liked the initial smell on both, and eventually the different notes came through on my wrist, eventually drying down to a powdery smell. Strangely, on the card I could smell woody notes that never came through on my skin. Sadly I'm passing because it smelled much better and lasted much longer on the card than it did on my wrist.

This fragrance is just ok!!!the opening is very good but them later it goes very soft Scent 9/10 Longevity 6.5/10 Projection 6.5/10 Overall 7.5/10

Love the scent but the lacks in longevity while on skin. Haven't tested on clothes.

I don't know about anyone else, but I get a strong dose of cinnamon in this. It sets it off so nicely. This scent as a whole actually reminds me quite a bit of Burberry London. You may see a suit when wearing this, but I also see a warm, red flannel shirt or sweater. This would be great to wear around Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. I went to Sephora to test spray Spicebomb and the SA directed me toward this. I'm very happy they did. Spicebomb is nice, but a little too sickly sweet for me. This has sweetness, but it's definitely tempered by comparison. I absolutely love Man In Black.

I love this fragrance.

I think that one is very good, but I never purchased it. I hope to review it in the future.

I just got this fragrance. This is by far way better than Spice bomb. The smell is amazing and it lasts on me 8 plus hours. I think I have found a new favorite winter fragrance. This will always be in my collection!

Paul Ferguson i dont think there is an alternative for any fragrance. as we all know every EDP or EDT has a different scent on everyone. so if I love it I buy it, just like this one. experiment with other ones, you'll find you signature scent I'm sure about that :)

Have you gotten your nose on man in black orient?

I've tested a sample today in the flagrance shop, given this positive review... but I must say I was rather disappointed. What bothers me is the 'medicinal' smell which reminds me of the odor you get when you use a spray for muscle aches (you know those sprays that give you either a hot or cold feeling on your skin). It is definitely a rather unique smell, rather sophisticated but the association with the odor of muscle ache spray I have makes it a no go for me. Longevity and projection in comparison with Spicebomb also in favor of the last one. Not bad, not wow neither.

Spicebomb would certainly be up there. Recently I also discovered Scuderia Forte by Ferrari which I find to be an excellent scent and good for the fall. I would also wear Sublime Cedar by Zara. Thank you for watching!

I would say Eros is good for 15-25 years old while this is for 25+ . But that’s how I feel, nobody can really tell you if it smells better than Eros , only you can do that .

khurram abbas I tend to disagree with the age thing. MIB has Rum and tobacco notes along with a warming spicy ness while Versace Eros is more fresh and doesn’t have the Rum and tobacco. You would wear man in black on a cold winter’s night perhaps with more formal clothing while you would wear Eros day or night (preferably during night) during late summer and early autumn while wearing slightly more casual clothes. If you want to be seen as more playful wear Eros if you want to be seen as more classy wear MIB.

i enjoy this scent very well its wonderful at first sniff but for me after 3 hrs its dead 😖

Michael P One million if you're looking for sweet , long lasting, metrosexual vibe masculine, bubblegum vibe, club, outdoor, winter kind of scent. Man in black if you're looking for more, warm, seductive, masculine, spicy (not too spicy), date, night time, winter/fall scent. In terms of longevity, One million definitely have more advantage over MIB not by too far though

It was ok....not enough longevity or projection. .but presentation was above average. .love how the bottle looks.. Not enough to buy 90.00$

I adore Bvlgari Man in Black. Sweet but not sugar type of sweet. I call it "growing up sweet". 5-6 hours on my skin....just average....but when i spray it on my shirt i can smell it till tomorrow. Amazing

Don't believe what everyone is saying because people have different skin chemistry etc, it's my cologne since it came out in 2014 and man i can tell you it lasts forever, however i do recommend you trying it before don't blind buy this, this scent has a certain character and i believe it's not for everyone
