That is one of the nicest bottles ever. Not enough green is used in fragrance design imo.

Unfortunately I can’t buy it anymore under normal circumstances, but (the green colour) was a major aspect that I thoroughly enjoyed with the ancient Gucci Envy scent.

Why doesn't Bvlgari sound as elegant when I say it? I've been holding off on picking this one up but now I'm thinking I need to pick it up. 70k on the way! #ftb

New here! Didn’t know there were reviews for perfumes but hang on ! A lot of information you got there ! Kudos!!!! I’m getting this one to replace an old perfume I was a fan of the Italian scent : Ermenegildo Zegna Uomo. One of the best subtle scents I’ve had. The hair and face wash stayed longer than the perfume lol . The aftershave balm way brilliant too.

The Davidoff is much heavier with notes of vetiver and saffron. I find them to be quite different. Perhaps this is a bit lighter.

Well said Steven! We always look, smell, or listen for what we want or find familiar. Personally, I was severely underwhelmed by the release, especially with that bubble-gummy opening, but I'll definitely give it another chance down the road. Btw, that green shirt looks great on you!

Calm,dry,woodsy,gentleman type of scent in a bit old school type.We don't have much of scents with that vibe in modern designer industry today. Neroli is very nice done in this one. Grear review.👍

Love the history & back story behind the fragrances, creators & product lines! Right up my alley. I tried this one out this last Saturday. Good solid flanker, woodsy, versatile, masculine. I definitely can't say that it beats out Man in Black, but I think that they are two different animals, and I tend to gravitate towards deeper fragrances. Amazing fact-filled review Steven! P.S. Great scent!!

This is an amazing fragrance. Very fresh very herbal you can smell the coriander for a long time it feels you are walking in a sweet forest after a rain. It can be worn in cold or hot weathers. Just stupendous. I have it in my collection all year long and I wear it very frequently. I prefer this one to Man in Black which I like as well yet makes me feel nauseous after a full day of wearing

@@Redolessence Quick question on another frangrance, do you know if Abercrombie & Fitch fierce has been reformulated? I just recently bought it, it seems ok not from what I remembered when I smelled it years back at their store.

I bought this perfume, and I am not disappointed even a little. I think this is gonna be my new scent from now on. It's about 6,500 Php or almost 125 USD and i think its price is just right to its elegant smell. And it's good if you wanted to have a more distinct smell from the others. Bvlgari never ceases to amaze us. Thanks a lot for the video too.

This one is good. Just got it today and it’s very versatile and it’s a unique scent

It has a unique vibe to it , I didn't pick it up but I think down the road it is worth a purchase. From Bvlgari I really like Aqua in the summer & hope the bum who stole it from me returns it!

This one smells very nice. I think it is really appropriate for men in the age ranges of mid to late 30s. It won't be a stand out fragrance but it is really pleasant to smell. Great review!

I know I'm late here, but would you say that owning John Varvatos Vintage would make this redundant? I get heavy pine from that (like Christmas the day you take home the tree). I love pine, but I'm looking for something sweet and woody, since Polo Red Intense doesn't seem to have an obvious replacement.

Imo with both being green I can see how that would make people think they're similar. They're NOT similar at all in scent. Think of wood essence as a pine/cedar forest, very green projection at first. Dry down is really, really good after about 2-3 hrs. Like right before it becomes a skin scent. So fresh. Wood neroli is very powdery, white floral essence/very green. Drys down to a woody floral and to me, there's a sharp pickle smell with it. It's weird. One of my worst blind buys if I'm being honest.

I smelled it in Bloomingdales Saturday I really like it 😊

I like this one a bit more. Visit is a bit strange, but unique nonetheless. Visit is a bit spicier whereas this one is woodsier.

Classically Masculine! Love it.... But I love Man in Black as well.

this is one i will always own. it works perfect with my skin and. i get dirty at work.. this is not off putting or cloying. not too sweet either. neroli smells like old man to me. man in black makes me sneeze. this is one is all the good with no bad. and it is unique yet versatile.

Heh, I got a good 20 hours out of my first spray, of course it wasn't as noticeable towards the end, but I can still easily smell it now and I put it on 13 hours ago.

Sprayed Bvlgari man in black on left hand and wood essence on right hand they both smell very good the wood essence projected stronger than man in black wood essence smells a lot different once it settles down i did not like the smell when i first put it on after dry down i loved it

Not sure if it was this one or the Neroli one but my take on it is, it's the green version of the "blue" fragrance. Carolina Herrera CH Men Prive would be the lavender version of the "blue" fragrance

Right, but is it woodsy ?

Smelt this one today, reminded me alot of alien man.

The immature in me laughs at things like this name. Im not proud of it but I do. Woody oriental always cracks me up. I've been looking for a Woody scent lol I love the smell of the forrest and a scent they call petrichor the smell in the air before it rains on dry ground when it hasn't rained in awhile. I've seen Demeter made one but the reviews basically said it isn't. I have a recommendation. Its a great spring summer scent opening reminds me of sprite. It's a cologne my wife got me from Brazil when we visited family. It's from a company, oBoticario it's called Dimitri. It's amazing.

That is my second all time favorite. Did you stock up when it was announced it was discontinued? I bought two 1.7 oz bottles and one 3.4 that is from their very first batch.

I was trying to decide between Bvlgari man in black or wood essence got a deal for $54 Bvlgari man in black 5 ounces.
