He was extremely drunk. Depending on what kind of drunk you are, you might've had some slight chance of doing the same thing. I know I get calm and freindly when I'm extremely drunk but I also know there's people out there that get dangerous tendencies. Like the drunks that get angry and attack their family or ones that literally just go insane and take off their clothes and run around. This guys nephew posted on reddit and it really sucked to hear his experience with this all. He said his uncle was a good man just a bit wild and that seeing everyone happy and making fun of him broke his heart. Really makes you think about stuff you say not thinking it will effect anyone

In Australia, we have a word for that, it's called 'skylarking' (doing stupid things), and in this case, it cost him his life.

Quick, put warning labels on fireworks telling you not to put them on your head!

Remember, drinking is only bad if you have a low mental capacity. Which is why there's so many drinking deaths in North America. I've never once seen an actual intelligent person get so drunk they do dumb things, and I've been at parties with people who would drink from 9pm and finish their last bottle at 6am. Only one person stayed normal while sloshed, that's an average of 1/1000 people in my case
