When Dean starts singing in the donkeys’ pasture, something magical happens. It all started when the first foal arrived at the farm and needed some love. Dean would rock the baby donkey and sing to him. And could you imagine, the donkey loved it! Since Dean and Dawn had 7 other rescue donkeys, he started singing to them all. And it couldn’t have turned out better.

Donkeys are great companions. Smart, playful. Each with a different personality. Kudos for providing them with a loving, safe environment.

Donkeys respond to music. They are the sweetest animals and unfortunately are frequently abandoned. Glad there are sanctuaries so they have a home to go to.

Music is such a universal language that it bring everyone together and lightens the heart ❤. On the flip side I'm so tone deaf and off key my doggo thinks something is wrong with me when I sing so he brings me one of his favorite toys to make me feel better. 😂

I think all animals love to be sung too, And have music played for them very nearby. When I play music, Usually Female singers, Singing touching songs, My cat will display right next to it and close her eyes. Animals know good people when they see them. Many blessings
I adore donkeys and donate every month to Donkey Rescue. I went to Greece about 20 years ago and was horrified by the treatment of donkeys and dogs and cats.

What is it about sitting there lovin' on your little cuddle buddy, and then all of a sudden you're singing away to them - I used to sing You are My Sunshine and Countryroad all the time, just humming away while I spent time with my little kitty. It's good for the soul 😊

Es apasionante el trato que da a estos burritos, siento envidia sana de ver los momentos que puede compartir con estos animales, mi manera de sentir es muy parecida a la de el, lo hago igual con mi perra, pero los burros son uno de mis animales preferidos, amazing, saludos desde Málaga España.
Animals have a super power ... Brain 🧠 fixing 🧰way better then any shrink i can just imagine how soothing it would be around them . I was at a dark point lost in the valley of the dead and it took a little Chihuahua 🐶 to walk me threw it ......A frickin Chihuahua !!! 🐕........What have i become.. I owe him big time

Very beautiful. Animals evolved in the absence of human song of course, and if they are intelligent, curious, and emotional, as donkeys are, they can be fascinated by these novel sounds. You may also have seen the youtube videos of the guy who serenades elephants with classical piano performances.

I am EXTREMELY jealous of these donkeys!
Perhaps the key to being appreciated as a singer is choosing the right audience. My critters seem more IRRITATED than anything else when I serenade them. Cats howl. Dogs bark. And I thought I was pretty good! Maybe I'll try donkeys.
Love conquers all. This man is wonderful and his kindness is so beautiful.💕💕 He will never find a love like these animals are giving him.
