I agree with you that most animals are "well cared for" by their owners BUT that does not mean they love them enough to do anything extra. And, unfortunately, there are awful humans who treat their animals poorly, so it was just nice to know that a human being is kind enough to have animals trust (and love) them in return.

Nathan's ear hair is adorable. You can tell he treats them well by how they gather around him

Donkeys are extremely smart and protective. My Grandma has one and he greets the day with a little song when he comes up to the house. We say he is singing the song of his herd.

Thank you for providing such a beautiful home to Nathan and his horse friends. It looks like a little paradise. Donkeys are awesome and work so hard around the world, as do horses, and suffer much, so it's nice to see some peace and joy among them.

You could be right but I've seen people love animals and say shit on a human being.in fact I fully hate it because if you shoot a police dog they treat you like you shoot an officer and I seen people do more time for shooting this neighbor's dog then for them people shooting a human, when the damn dog tried to bite the hell out of you, and we'll really gets me when it comes to animals some guys got a pitbull and the pit bull is trying to kill you he gets mad because you hitting his dog or shoot his dog what kind of s*** is that, now that's loving your animals more than humans especially when the guy didn't do nothing to you he ain't trespassing.

That was so cute, funny, and sweet. I'm absolutely in love with his little mini horse. He/she was standing to his side next to the big horse patiently waiting to get some attention. He looked so tiny and adorable. I always wished people would get an other donkey when they have one. I heard that donkeys need to be amongst other donkeys for their social well being. So to Nathans owner please try and get Nathan a buddy, and then he'll always have someone who's as loud.😊

Their longer ears likely also help their hearing, but the main reason may be because, being from hot climates, donkeys' ears serve as radiators, enabling the blood flowing through them to shed heat (as goats' horns do; their horns contain blood vessels), to help them maintain a safe body temperature.

I'm loving this so much. I lived my first 11 years of life in a village in Greece, I too had a donkey best friend that I spent alot of time with, whom I took for walks down to the river in Sparta Greece, and would come running when I called him. We often had "conversations" and when I laughed my lovable donkey laughed with me. This brought back those wonderful memories. I still adore donkeys.

@@akbarpashtun We left Greece when I was 10, and he stayed at the farm. My parents wouldn't let me bring donkey with us to NYC. 😂

Yes. As an owner of horses in the past, I noticed that right away. Their coats are beautiful, their hooves are trimmed and they all were standing with him, meaning they liked him. He obviously takes very good care of them. Oh, yeah, Nathan has the most beautiful ears!

Yes indeed! We need more good positive news I haven't watched or kept up with the "News" in 6 years. It's nothing but sadness, violence, tyranny, and fear mongering being broadcasted it's not worth the energy to turn it on.

Videos like that make your day. Who doesn't like a beautiful donkey and horses. Such wonderful creatures of God.
