In this Zelos Nova 2 unboxing and first impressions video, I take a look at the latest Art Deco dress watch from this Singapore microbrand. With some elaborate, intricate, guilloche dials and wafer-thin cases, these are truly unlike any other Zelos watches I've encountered. These are each handwound, mechanical timepieces.

ETA/Peseux 7001 doesn't even hack, but I appreciate thin & uncomplicated movements. 37mm is just a little small for me, and I'm on watch buying probation anyway --- but it's a cool release & I like the dial choices 👍.

Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the amzwatch, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
I have an Art Deco Seiko from the 90s. I love certain art deco watches
I got the old Nova in 38mm (linen dial) and it's my absolute favorite of the 12 or so watches I own. Not too excited about these new ones though, the dials are too busy and the colours pop too much
What about Tuxedo dial
I have a mocha Nova with the same movement. Outstanding watch! Love the case and movement on this new one. Don't really care for the dials. Too busy, trying to hard to give us texture. Not for me

Mainly Seiko Presage and those higher end presage.
You cant even see anything on the salmon dial, but the dial pattern. The numerals are completely lost.

I was really excited and was ready to buy the salmon based on the pics but now I'm questioning it.

Could have gone without the inner silver circle, and framed the small seconds in a more subtle manner.

Many zelos designs are too busy. I want to love them but there's always something keeping me from pulling the trigger
Nothing against this but... With SeaGull ST17 movement it could be as thin as this one and for less money.

ETA is much more serviceable. Don't know if many watchmakers who would service a Seagull.

Not exactly what I would call tasteful, but ymmv.
Do i deserve one for free for watching this video😂😂
People buy Zelos and sell them within a week for twice the price.. Dials get a bit boring after months of ownership, I guess.

Nice watch, but too expensive. The movement doesn't justify that price...
