It saved my life too. I had Afib the 29rh December and the Apple Watch detected it. I went to urgent care and they confirmed it. Once Afib reverted (with medication) I went back to my normal life. Yep, Apple Watch CAN save lives!

@@vandalsavage6743based on the context of the video, It’s likely that he’s refering to Apple Watch. From series 5 and later, It can detect a fall and If you don’t dismiss it will call automatically. However, this may not work in all region due to region restriction. For example, E911 in the USA can recieve location of you when you call them but not all call center can do this especially in less developed country

Correction to your statement, Withings make a device called the Active ECG which also detects AFIB. Also Withings is the only device with approval in more countries.

I have a Apple Watch my heart rate goes up to 190 when resting should I be worried? I usually pass out when that happens but I got a heart test and I says everything is fine.

Maybe seek further investigation. If it's not happening at the time of your appointment, and they can't see it in that moment, it may show up as fine. You might need a holter, loop or even monitor so it can be detected while its happening. Of course then it has to be happening regularly enough. The Apple watch would be good for basic home monitoring on a more regular basis so you have something to go to your doctor with. Hope you get some answers.

definitely get a chest strap that will monitor your heart rate it will be more accurate, though the apple watch itself is pretty accurate but your doctor might find the data of an ecg chest strap much more believable
