I sear my roast before I put in crockpot. I put veggies in an put roast on top. It gets done easier. I use to put it on the bottom

I just recently made some kitchen pepper using an old late 18th century recipe. It includes ground ginger, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, ground black pepper, and ground nutmeg mixed with plain salt. I wonder if the complex flavor of kitchen pepper would work well with a pot roast like that? I must try that someday!

I would love to come and get some tomatoes.

We use the same. Kind of pepper sauce you do,it's what l grew up with,my folks didn't even know about hot sauce,like Louisiana hot sauce.l use both,pepper sauce on veggies and hot sauce on eggs and in Guacamole,that roast looks so good.

I wanted to jump through the screen when I saw all those beautiful home grown tomatoes of yours! They say tomatoes are easy to grow and I've tried several times, but I can't grow tomatoes to save my life and end up buying them from the Amish at our local farmers market - and they ain't cheap!
