I really hope the guy in the black car at the end loses his licence. How that wasnt bigger is beyond me. Great video, thanks.

@@spencerreynolds737 I'm fairly sure he had broken down, his hands in the air were to let the drivers behind know that he was a slow car, the pit entrance is the other side of the circuit, so he hadn't had the chance to pit, he saw the car coming behind him was going to hit him, so he instinctively moved to avoid the imminent crash, it did cause some serious problems for the other cars, but the guy that was about to rear end him, should have been looking ahead and noticed him going slow with his hands up.

Think it’s important to remember this is amateur racing. If this was F1 - absolutely need a ban for the black car. At this level, certainly needs a summons to the Clark of the course, a warning and a reminder of correct procedures. However, if it’s a first offence, anything more would be an overreaction. I suspect the driver feels really bad about it before any action is taken anyway!!!

I can't quite believe what I'm seeing with that last crash. There was a clear line of vision between the slowing car and at least two of the approaching ones, so I guess from their point of view the slowing car must have looked deceivingly fast. That could have been so much worse!

What on earth was the black car doing in the last clip? To firstly move into the middle of the circuit and then turn sharply across the width of the track and across oncoming cars is crazy.

Black car had obviously broken down and was waving the cars behind him to pass. He jolted to his right because he saw the red car was approaching at speed and was on a collision course

@@brian399 I presume they were out of fuel, since it appears to be at the end of a session. The driver actually does quite a good job to hold their line, and they only jink across when it becomes clear that the red car is going to smash into them. I'd put no blame on the black car's driver here.

@@deafeningoctopus We've got completely different readings of the situation. The black car didn't maintain his line. He moved from the pit wall and drove diagonally across 3/4 the width of the track. He started to veer back over to the right. He should have stayed over by the wall and out of the way. He put his car in the middle of the track and cars didn't know if they should go left or right. I don't think the red car was going to hit him and I don't think that is why he steers. I think he's actually performing a sharp turn to go into the pit exit. His car was parked across the track. I think the black car is fully to blame.

@@brian399 You make a good point. Although they held their line for the most part, it would have been safer for them to have stayed by the wall and pulled in at the exit of the pit lane.

It's certainly one that will cause debate, that's one of the main reasons these videos are even made. Some think the chap in the black car is at fault. Some think the obvious hand signals were interpreted about 6 different ways from the cars behind. Either way its a very silly end to what was actually a brilliant race
