MALLARDS Were TOO CLOSE! (Limited Out) | Duck Hunting 2023

Спорт

Matt is out for a solo duck hunt with his 28 gauge once again. As soon as it starts to get light, the ducks start dropping into Matt's spot. He watched as teal and wigeon zipped around. After sun up, the mallards showed up and decoyed in close. Too close, in fact, as Matt had some trouble hitting them at first. Nonetheless he persevered and was able to get a mallard and duck limit. Another amazing day of duck hunting!

You weren't kidding, those birds were on TOP of you! I have a hard enough time with full chokes as it is myself anyways, I've tried this year to not really shoot anything outside 30-ish yards unless I'm hunting geese then I'll run a full and #2s or bigger. I've had much more success just limiting myself to quality shots. Good hunt Matt!

You're my favorite KZreadr to watch Matt. You have the best ethics when it comes to the shots that you take. Buddy I do not like the sound of the animator decoy in the videos. I also think that it spooked those ducks right up out of the decoys. Could camera or microphone placement make the decoy sound quieter in the video? It took me two tries to watch this whole video because I couldn't stand listening to that thing. I understand that's a personal problem but I'm sure I wasn't alone.

It's the sound that finishes the birds. These ducks make wings-on-the-water sound all the way down the flyway. The only place they never hear live wings on the water is in a spread. This thing works, I'd gladly send you a free one to try out. It doesn't sound good on camera, and it's not supposed to make waves. It's the world's first water call. And it works- very well. 👊💯
