I clapped when she and her husband came back to the town together walking through crowds holding each other. Every husband/men should be like him!

@@kornaxon3522 Well the lady's husband comes back, and they go back to the town together. The same women who hated on her, become nicer to her, because they see that she gained some weight and isn't was pretty as she was. The little boy reflects on his feelings for her.

Andrea Taylor first of all- I wasn’t justifying anything. Those women were nasty and vile and jealous. What they did was horrible to her. But both genders were just as bad. That lawyer did rape her the first time round doesn’t matter if they were dating afterwards (rape within relationships still exist) and the fact that you do not see that shows me that I’m wasting my time arguing with you. The men treated her like she was a piece of meat the whole times throughout the movie- even that peverted young boy invading her privacy. I never justified what the women did- but I was annoyed at the fact that your were only focusing on what the women did, even though throughout the movie it emphasised on the mistreatment from the men. Every time they did something for her, they expected sex as a repayment. Both genders were equally bad- notice how the men were nice to her when they found her beautiful and then didn’t defend during the vicious attack and continued to ignore her pleads for help when they found her ugly. They also helped spread lies about her. In my opinion both genders were bad, maybe men even more

Malena is one of my most unforgettable movies. I only like this type of movies. Full of meanings, full of emotions, full of colors and imaginations. It allows audience great room to think about love and life. Much much better than Hollywood movies, so cheap so commercial...
