I liked the original Malena clip with Ennio Morricone music in the background, where boy was spying through the peep hole on Malena, where she washed her hair, and then danced to old song thinking about her husband that was at war. Then, scene where she was at the door and asked the boy to come down, and threw coins on the ground, then at the end the scene where she laying on the bed, crying of being alone, and then boy shows up and kisses her... I was crying too, like he was trying to protect her and be with her no matter what.

the irony of people here in the comments objectifying Malena, as she is a character in a movie about the harms of objectifying a woman. Yes she is very pretty, but she is always alone, always judged. Even in the procession for her dead husband, everyone is objectifying her and she is alone. The only one dressed in black, the boys following a few steps behind. Seems like she is never allowed to be part of the world.

Wow....I started off skinny in my childhood....now am curvy...half Italian. I try not to critique myself for my extra flesh now. All is well I tell myself. My beautiful mother hated her body later in her life. I'm doing my best to "go with the flow" of life. Nothing stays the same. I now have more flesh and that is more than okay.
