I've only ever had one kitten because we usually get old age rescue cats, but I still remember the day we picked her out of the litter and the guy unceremoniously exposed her behind to check, she looked so offended by it 😂 I will love every single cat that comes my way, although I do admit an extra soft spot for the males, they have always been more soppy and affectionate so far xD

They really came in handy lately, as one of our porch-fed “strays” gave birth to 7 sweet babies about a month ago! Thank you for your hard work and dedication. It is truly a labor of love.

I rescued a small stray wild cat from a place I was working. She was TOTALLY skin and bones and I couldn't stand that. I took her to the vet the day after I adopted her. My vet held her and told me that she's going to have 4 kittens. UUrgh!.... I put her immediately on kitten chow for the great nutrients. Fast forward a few months, she had 4 adorable little healthy kittens. She licked their butts a lot and I was wondering WHAT the heck she's doing. Come to find out, she's doing EXACTLY what you are doing with the paper towel. So smart!..... Fast forward about 9 years now, my "Kitty" (that's her name) RUNS to the door to see me as SOON as I get home. She follows me all around the house, talking to me. My kitty loves me and I love her too.

My question is did those babies consent ? 😜 This really helped me A LOT. I found a stray in my backyard with 4 kittens who are approximately 2.5 months and I had the hardest time telling. Now I ALMOST feel like an expert 😂!! I’ve also decided I want to foster kittens! It can be a lot of work but so rewarding to your soul!! My heart is bursting with love! I have so much to learn but I’m diving in head first. Wish me luck 🍀

Our little one Mickey is 9 weeks now, we adopted her since 3-4 weeks. And thanks for your video, we knew how to feed her and stimulate her to pee, haha. I can never have imagined she would be that naughty and active now by then:) She's super healthy.

Thank you so much for these videos. I know it has been some time since you posted this, but your videos on feeding and defecation have been a life saver for me. My boyfriend found five orphaned kittens in the paint shop at work and I had no idea how to care for them as they still needed a bottle. I have had puppies before that didn’t require a bottle because they still had their Mom, but never kittens, so this is new for me and I am so glad I casually watched these videos previous to this moment. We were going to take them to the shelter but they are at capacity so we have decided to foster them. They are eating beautifully now from the bottle in just three days, you are such a life saver even beyond the little kitties in your care, but also the ones in others’ care. You help so many people and babies. Thank you! This video will help me figure out their gender as it doesn’t seem to be as easy as telling in puppies! Lol!

UH! I had troubles with this! When I found 2 days old kitten in garbage bag, I couldn't tell should we call him he or she!? Vet said it's girl, but he wasn't! Haha! What a suprise was that for us! We called him Mary for week! Now, he's Lucky. I realy couldn't tell! I'm just 12 years old! And when you were stimulating these kittens to poop and pee it just bringed back memories! Bless you!❤

Amei Draws no. It is actually the protiens in their pee and saliva that triggers allergic reactions, not the hair. Hairless cats actually produce more oils and proteins, meaning they make allergic reactions worse. The cats that will produce the least significant allergic reactions would be cats that produce less proteins, like Siberian cats or Russian blues. However, some people are still allergic to the "hypoallergenic" breeds of cat, like me

My sister has always loved and had cats, after she got pregnant and had kids she was strangely allergic to them. So she still loves them and has 2 inside she takes a claratin a day and has to wash hands/arms/face after holding them , it makes it tolerable.

Absolutely love this! I rescued a baby kitten one year never ever had a cat before that , brought it to my ranch. When she grew older she got curious and ran outside and somehow breeded with another cat ( we live miles from any neighbors) not sure how that happened but NOW WE have TONS of cats!

This video is very helpful. A long time ago, I adopted a black 5 week old kitten, and was told it was male. I honestly couldn't tell from looking. Turns out Vincent became Theresa. She was such a lovely, very girly cat all of her long life.

I knew nothing about the babies not being able to evacuate at that age. When Butchie weed on me I thought it was a moment of bonding. He thrived and grew to be a very athletic 20 pound long-haired black and tan mackerel tabby. Reading the commentary below, apparently all this trendy nonsense circulating around the current obsession with the word "gender" has gotten some bewildered naifs even more confused. Animals DO NOT have "genders"--- they have sexes. Gender is a peculiarly human concept, and a psycho-social construct. Gender may be fluid, but sex is not. We may still be shackled with the Victorian taboo/denial of using the word "sex" (though I should hope not), but that does not mean we can substitute the word "gender" for it.

I watch this every time I foster a litter of kittens! I doubt myself when they are so little and this does help. :)
