Loved this car.

At 0:46 you hear the car go over the curbs, rattling sound. Very cool.

On a side note... the Toyota engine must have been pretty strong. +2 km/h on the straight for Panis's Toyota, less than 1 tenth down in sector 1 (the fastest), around 3 tenths down in sector 3 (the average one) and 6-7 tenths down in sector 2 (the slowest one). Either they had a great engine with rubbish aero, or they went for a reaaally low downforce setup compared to the Renault. Edit: fixed a typo

Their engine was not great. The Renault engine was always notorious for being slow, even back then.

actually he did back off but the rule says you can try to pass again after the next corner or something of that nature so no the stewards did the right thing

They got together for only once at Ferrari in 2014!

This year Alonso finished 2nd with 278 points in the drivers championship while Schumacher finished 13th with 49 points. Alonso won 3 races while Scumacher won 0 races. Alonso's average finishing position (not counting retires) was 3.3 (3rd place) while Schumacher's average finishing position (not counting retires) was 10 (10th place). So yeah, have fun with my forgotten mind.

That's on the brakes and not anything else, really. The grooved tire cars were on the anchors like 12-15 metres earlier there.

In 07 both McLaren drivers had their first year in the team. I know they had Alonso as their first driver, but they sure as hell didn't favor him over Hamilton! I think you're ignorant when you base their skill level purely on the 07 season! Yes it was Hamilton's rookie year, and yes Alonso had 2 WDC under his belt. But that's does not mean Hamilton shit all over Alonso! Especially with all the political stuff going on that year.

I Think that alonso didn't do his homework before he moved from renault. Alonso strolled into the mclaren team expecting everything to go his way, but mclaren have always made it crystal clear that they always allow both their drivers to race each other. Alonso simply didn't know this and that's his problem, not hamilton's.

I found interesting fact, sorry for late reply: 2001 season driver´s point standings 21st Enrique Bernoldi Arrows best finish 8th 22nd Tarso Marques Minardi best finish 9th, twice 23rd Fernando Alonso Minradi best finish 10th, once Sadly talented drivers like Bernoldi and Marques didnt get a good chance to drive a good car and a jerk like Alonso got
