The content encouraged me to go back and take a second or third look at some of my images. Certainly found much more color by spending a little bit of time experimenting. I had these notion that if I spent more than a few minutes on the image I was ‘cheating’. Actually the only cheating that was actually happening was not fully bringing out the image potential but colors I actually did see.

Hi Adrian. Another awesome video! A couple of comments - First please move forward a bit when recording these videos. It makes you look cooped up a bit. As for the subject of color I really agree with the opinions you expressed in this video however I would tone down the changes in some of the images. The Giraffe for example seemed too orange on my screen(which is calibrated 4K DELL monitor). It might also be just the video recording btw. Just switched to the r74 from the r73. Great difference. As you mention in another video the ISO sensitivity leaves room for desire.

Shaul, thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it. Enjoy the A7RIV. There is a price to pay but I personally think it is worth it.

Hi Adrian. Another awesome video, helpful points to keep in mind for sure when out in the field and at the computer editing. Color, certainly a big subject in the context of photography! ( BTW I noticed that your teal shirt works well as a complement to the mustard yellow sofa, the grey sleeves acting as a neutral).

Hey Gary. I hope you're doing well. Thanks for watching. Yes indeed the shirt color was intentional.

Thanks so much for your quick reply and insights. You have certainly made me rethink my opinions regarding full frame vs crop sensor for wildlife photography...I think both systems are very capable and can be employed in different scenarios. One wildlife photographer I’m very fond of is Trond Wesley, he uses both the Nikon D500 and Nikon D4 depending upon the situation. I noticed that he also doesn’t go crazy with cropping. Cheers, and stay safe.
