just so everyone knows folded egg comes vacuumed sealed already cooked,, don't order that . the scrambled egg with the big breakfast is liquid egg. the only true egg is the round egg found on the mcmuffins which is cracked on steamed/cooked on the grilled. so whenever you order anything breakfast make sure to say "substitute X egg with rounded egg"

Sweet. My egg and pancake rings are arriving tomorrow. Can't wait to try it. I think I'll just simplify the recipe though by using my favorite boxed pancake mix, and cooking everything in the bacon grease.

I made this over the weekend (with sausage and no cheese) and learned some things not mentioned in the video: -Make sure not to let the syrup cool too long on the baking sheet as it will just become hard candy & not possible to roll into balls. As hard candy it will still work, but it ends up like shards of glass before you add them to the pancakes and they melt. I found roughly 8g was enough for one cake. -The pancake batter (for me) came out much more liquidy than his. It still worked perfectly fine, but it is good to know if you have the same happen to you.

My god..this was released on my birithday and I already was trying to make these at home..the gods have spoken.

I've had Mc griddles before and I like them the fact it's 2 small pancakes sandwiched with Bacon (or sausage if you prefer) Egg and Cheese. I like it when places have something like that (although it might be regular bread biscuits or even croissants)

😂 I knew you are going to make this one! I need to watch it!

I always wondered how they injected the syrup inside the pancake. Never thought it was just melted syrup balls put into the batter. Pretty cool.

@@xionmemoria not really, they make injection syringes for meat, you can get those at kitchen supply stores. I would imagine McD's is probably using something similar to that.

I always thought they just put some maple syrup in the batter after they put it on the stove; that's how I did it at home.

A lot of video recipes go faster when you do it on your own though, especially when you do it a few times or if you keep some of the ingredients pre-made on hand in a jar or bag, for something you make a lot. There are also shortcuts. Like you can use pancake mix for the breading and maple syrup poured over the bacon instead of the ball pieces. It's not going to have a fancy restaurant flare but still really good and better than the fast food version.
