If you watch a few of mumbos indepth vidios on redstone cercuts and a few of the item specific videos like the one on compariters, the one about pistons and the one on observer blocks as well as the redstone clock concepts takes about an hour and a half to become an expert

It's cool to see it all work tho and dream of the day, when you have hours of free time to do the research, learn the needed stuff, build it all and.. you know, live the actual life, where you get the money to get along and live, take care of your kid and have a social life ^^' Why re-invent the wheel when all you gotta do is appreciate that someone has done it and you follow their steps :) (And if you have passion and time to actually learn, create and teach your own stuff, that's even more awesome!)

@@Sieggis lol. Mumbo jumbos videos are a series you got to start at episode 1 or your compleatly lost. He just made a video about survival redstone. It was honestly the perfect vid to tie some of it togeather. Imagine if mumbo did every video layer by layer. I dont think hed have fun anymore. Besides dose the algebra teacher go back over 1+1=2 2+2=4.

@@chefdimi115 Yeah, I totally get that. But I think that the first comment was partially joke, partially painfully true. And I don't think it would do any hurt if atleast in the description there'd be a link to a pic/vid that would have the redsone stuff for people who haven't seen the ones that explain "how to.." :) I haven't had enough time to wrap my head around the awesome redstone (I know the basic of the basics but once you add repeaters etc or go more than two layers, I'm lost ^^') My lil' brother on the other hand does some cool, compact and complicated stuff. And usually I end up relying on his know-how. And on this case, I would ask him, how do I replicate this since I see only quick glimpses of the actual redstone stuff ^^' And as we need to do proper mining on our server, this system would be SO useful! :3

Volaranara he had it go into a dropper that went into a chest filled to the brim (missing only one) with mine passes. Once the pass got added, a comparator had a little bit more of a signal from the chest and sent a signal to the door.

I thought that too, but you only like 6 blocks out like you spend 10 seconds mining to there to put the observer and connect it and stuff. The whole point is to show when a mineshaft has been completed, and it clearly would serve its purpose. If it was any longer I'd probably agree with you though.

Mumbo, your Hermitcraft neighbor is going to want a Storage System in his Base, might want to check with him about it, give him a list of Resources you'll need to build it for him. I would suggest that you also convert your Sand & Cobble Bulk Storage on Hermitcraft to the Shulker Storage Silos you built here, because you'll be going through it like crazy, and you know it. I would suggest the same to your Hermitcraft neighbor as well. P. S. Check your underwater AFK room, there's a message on a Sign and a lot of torches.

He is using glowstone cause it is a kind of block wich push the frames up and prevent the Redstone from bugging. Hope that was helpful 😁

I just had an idea! Don't panic. Science in Minecraft. How about a video about recreating the SNO+ (Sudbury Neutrino Observatory) at SNOLAB in Minecraft. It was built in a former mineshaft. Some science in Minecraft would be awesome. Also, the LHC in Minecraft would be super mental if done to scale. 27km in circumference would be 27,000 blocks around. That would be another awesome video.

The elevator took 25 seconds to make it down. This would be perfect for a horror map (or a halloween survival map). Having to hide/survive for 25 seconds from something would be awesome!

12:20 is actually one of the coolest systems I ever seen tbh I wanna make one of these in my survival world

Make a flying machine with double piston extenders!

This is the coolest Minecraft video I’ve ever seen and I want to recreate this but I have no clue how to even start

I suck at redstone builds I've tried to learn but I just can't seem to get the hang of it and you can literally just think of something and make it work haha I love your videos and I did make a trap door that works well and is compact but other than that I'm still kinda lost

ALWAYS make your mine-shafts in extremehill biomes! That way you get Emeralds too!

No that’s dumb! There so rare and you can just trade with villages for them! And then there’s silver fish! And also you have to dig even further down to get stuff!

Mumbo is complaining about not having mcEdit. He needs to learn to use vanilla commands to do the "boring jobs"

As stated in many of his recent videos comments, Sethbling has made a basic form of mcedit in the form of a plug-in for 1.13, called blingedit. Works very well

the end made me happy and you could make it so you need the pass both ways

About the mcedit comment, it is possible to fill in an area with droppers/dispenser facing upward by using a [facing=] after the word dropper in the command.
