What a blessing to have your family think about how much you needed a good meal. Something as easy as cooked cabbage and bacon says I love you as much as any bring in food they could have got. It all looked delicious!

Tipper if the weather is warm enough, ask the nurse if you can take Granny outside in the wheelchair so she can get some fresh air. It’ll make her feel better to get out in the warm sun for a bit. And maybe take her a plate of home cooked food for a meal. I bet she would love that! Continued prayers 🙏🏻❤️

I admired how he stood back and had the girls get their plates first.. he usually goes first but he stepped back today.. love them all so much 😊♥️

It is so nice to have family do nice things for each other. If I am going to eat I am going to cook. Rain or shine. My mom sure did a lot of cooking for me back in the day. Thank you mom.

Yep. Egg whites, white sugar and a little vanilla extract. It whips up nice with a blender. That's what I always topped my banana pudding with. And put it in the oven on broil and watched closely till it was lightly browned. And then in the refrigerator to set. No need for whipped topping mix. But so proud of you and Dad for providing a great meal for Mom. She shows her love and care for you both through cooking. And now the circle of love embraces her. That's awesome.

That supper looks so good. We love boiled cabbage. When my daughter was small she would drink the cabbage broth out of a sippy cup. To this day ,39 years later, it's still one of her favorite🙏 foods. Im so glad granny is doing better. Praying for her everyday.

Yes, it is makes a cream pie!! I guess I'm being frugal, I save and mix in an extra egg or two and make scrambled eggs for breakfast. There' is nothing like home cooked food. Pork chops and biscuits. Nothing is better. One thing that brings a family together is to have at least one meal together every day. Sure hope Granny gets to come home and eat a meal with you guys, soon. That key-lime pie looks larapin' too. I'm not much on store bought pie, but if you have a Publix you can access, they have a great key-lime pie. Love y'all.
