a little tip for avoiding the pointed heads/shells (any any other dome shape when crocheting) if the pattern calls for 6 in magic ring followed by inc in each stitch to make 12, ignore the first round and instead put 12 into the magic ring and then continue as normal. this will smooth out that cone and create a nice rounded shape every time. (this works for whatever magic circle increase the pattern calls for, i just used 6 to 12 as an exampl) happy making!

I turned 10 in December and i wanna say that thank you. I started crocheting again after 2 years you were the reason. I realized how fun it is to have a stuffed animal you made in ur bed while you're sleeping. And another reason for me to start is cuz they're cute 👀

The company receiving and unboxing these turtles are going to be so excited and thrilled. They are adorable! I have your same philosophy at my office work of when you are overwhelmed with the sheer volume of tasks that you have to do, you just have to mentally get a mindset of not thinking about it and just doing it. Dwelling on how much you have to do makes everything harder.

I am 10 and I love crocheting for the past 3 years I have crochet my family scarfs and stuffed animals for christmas you are such a inspiration to me and I thank you for posting

I fed my husband some seaweed, and he's a very picky eater. He was neither impressed nor disgusted, and said it tasted like popcorn. Now I can't un-taste that! It is a similar flavor, different texture. Definitely don't be afraid to try seaweed snack!

Congratulations young lady! That’s amazing! My nieces are learning to crochet and one thing I teach them is when the call is to figure crochet the thicker yarn. It speeds you up and is less tired on your hands because your not straining to grip the needle.

Well, I looked at the youngest per-share in the world and she is 12 but I’m 10 and I crochet so much I started crocheting when I was nine I learned from someone in my mom’s job she’s been so encouraging and encouraged me to keep crocheting now I know how to make multiple Cowles bees even pillows and blankets. A way to get the shells less cone shaped is to loosen the stitches while crocheting but also afterwards... just pull on them lightly. It should help :)

Genna if your hands get sore use tension rings. They have helped me a lot while crocheting. It helps hand pain and yarn burn

I use cheap socks, pantyhose and t-shirt scraps to keep stuffing from showing or leaking through. I line larger body pieces with a sock or stocking segment before stuffing. For smaller areas, I wrap wads of stuffing in the knit scraps (tying them like little hobo bags).

YAY!! I was like I neeeed to show them the tip, it's so hard to explain with words xD

For the magic ring not closing, u can use a regular 5mm yarn, start the magic ring, and when u use ur hook to make the ring, u use both the 5mm and the yarn ur working with. U can work like normal with the chunky yarn and close ur circle by pulling the 5mm yarn tail

What is your favourite plushie to crochet? Also you are so talented I don't know how you did it.

I'm crocheting whilst watching this video, the turtles turned out super cute!!

I love seaweed as a snack! It's very nutritious, and satisfies my cravings for some reason. I've got an 18 pack of it in my cabinet now. I love the turtles! I enjoy working with the larger crochet needles for some reason. I think I would enjoy making the larger ones. I'm wanting to make some gifts for the Children's Hospital Oncology Unit where my daughter was treated for Leukemia, so the children being treated there now can enjoy them. My daughter has been in remission for 22 years, and I have been trying to figure out what I could do for the kids that they would enjoy. I never thought about crocheting until I came across a crocheting video a few months ago, and I've been back into crocheting again, and looking for something to send to the unit for them to enjoy. Absolute brilliant vlog, I hope the company loved them. I made a medium turtle yesterday it took 3 x100gm for head, fins, tale and body and 1 x 100g for the shell. However I struggle with the eyes, they go through into the head. I have an order for o e but going to embroider the eyes on. That way I can’t see the head on crooked 😂
