And good afternoon to you, Holly you inspired me with lavender so I went to Company and Shaybought a big bottle of it. Thank you lilac.

Mrs. Soap and Clay taught me to use coconut oil to get rid of ash on top of my soaps. Just put some on your finger and rub it across the top of the top of your bar. It works like magic. Soaping gals and guys need to work together. 🥰💞

Holly, I love that you have a full video showing the whole process. Thank you! So many soapers speed up their videos to 6 minutes or 17 minutes, and I just don’t find them enjoyable to watch. They are in such a hurry and it isn’t relaxed, in fact they make me anxious. I enjoy your talking and explaining as you work in real time, it is so much better! I just subscribed to your channel, and your soap is a work of art❣️ It’s all in the process and the love you put into it. ❤

Thanks so much! I love the whole process too. I have a lot of visually impaired viewers that love the sound of the immersion blender, etc., as well. I do reduce the sound but if we're going to have a soapmaking video, let's have one for reals!

The soap is gorgeous!! As a soapmaker myself, I love love love the glycerin river look. Makes the soap look vintage or intricate. Plus, its conditioning for the skin, which is an extra bonus. Highly recommend embracing all the fine qualities if glycerin rivers and keep it regular price! So happy your back to soapmaking and your new space is beautiful with the window I. The back.

Well, I think your lilac soap is gorgeous! Lovely soft colors and gentle swirls. It is so enjoyable looking out your back window, Holly. What a treat for all of us, and me having been from Missoula, got quite nostalgic. My sis still lives there in the Frechtown area. Thanks for another enjoyable vid. I read the reviews on CS about the FO, and most of them had the same result or worse.

That's so cool! I haven't been back to Missoula since we came through there at the end of 2022. I want to go back! Maybe I need to plan a drive in lilac season. At least you still have a good reason to come back! Lilac almost always misbehaves. I was prepared/not prepared this time. LOL

Purple is my favorite color as well! The snow is so pretty in the background. Thanks for sharing

Gorgeous Lilac soap Holly! I use Brambleberry fragrance and still get that thick ash on top! I’ve tried everything under the sun but have decided that I love the fragrance soooo much, I’m willing to live with it🤣 I laughed so hard when you said “Sometime Ash Happens” True story!!! I am as excited as you are to see the lilacs bloom here in the Flathead Valley! I did hear it’s supposed to snow again this weekend…so I may need to curb my enthusiasm a bit! Happy soaping! 🎉

Thank you Leanne! Yes, sometimes the ash is just worth it! We know that it's no big deal. Ahhhh....I can't wait for lilacs and all the aspens to leaf out. Every season here is spectacular! The pine trees are taking on a Spring-ness. I just love how Montanans come alive in the Spring/Early summer too. It is a truly appreciated season. This past weekend and week sure spoiled us. It gave us a good taste of what's to come. I missed enjoying the seasons here.

Purple is my favorite color as well.

Hi Holly! Thanks for another wonderful video! I switched to oil soluble TD instead of the water soluble TD. Rivers were happening too often for my liking.

Our Town park in Walden, CO has a few white lilac bushes…I get caught stealing a few blooms every year! I have purple and cherry in my own yard, but the white sure makes them pop in a bouquet!

Haha! I know! Then I realized...I could have just poured out another pitcher of the plain soap and then poured the purple back into the pot. But I think all of my other pitchers were waiting to be washed and that's why that did not make sense at the time. Let's just say I hope I thought of that back then. 😂

I've actually been trying to convince my husband to move out west to an abundance of acerage for a small farm cause our little bit we have in the country has exploded with neighbor after neighbor after & no privacy anymore but all he keeps saying is that should have happened when we were young. Oh, the soap turned out gorgeous! I know glycerin rivers are not ideal design-wise (nor is ash), but I really do love how this one turned out~ I'm not the biggest fan of lilac/lavendar (or florals on the whole), but I might just give this one a try:)

They still turned out pretty! Was the FO Freesia and Lilac? I made soap with that last spring and it accelerated for me too. On the bright side, it smells good and still smells strong even a year later. You are living my dream building a cabin in the woods in Montana and making soap ❤

Thank you! It was the Fresh Lilac from CS. They do almost always accelerate. I don't think the BB did for me though. I remember being surprised. We are very excited to be building a cabin up here! Sometimes I get stressed about the work I have to do and then try to remember to ground myself..."This is what you wanted. This is your dream!"

Lilac is such a lovely vintage fragrance 😍. You did a lovely job with the soap too. and you made my husband and I laugh out loud bigtime when you were berating yourself over saying how you were "kicking butt and writing down names and then the soap taught you a lesson" we laughed so hard over that. My husband loved that saying !!!

I also love purple! And lilacs. I have one of your Figgy Cream soaps in reserve - the purple that you use is the exact shade of purple that I absolutely love. My grandparents lived in a Chicago suburb that had a lilac festival every year. That was in the 70s, I don’t know if they still hold it. Unfortunately I live too far south to be able to have a lilac bush.

You’re still kicking ass❣️ I can’t see the rivers. Were they through the whole soap? Cause usually it’s the TD that causes them. That little bit of extra water makes a big difference.

Thank you Sarah! Yes, even the main purple that didn't have straightTD did have some. It wasn't as much as the lighter purple though. The water does make a huge difference.

It's about the only flowering shrub that will grow in Montana! Go where there are homes; there are lilac hedges and singles. Snowball trees are next you'll see. It's a smile maker in season to see and SMELL the many lilacs.

Oh yes, there are many on our way to town and it's so fun to drive in town during lilac season. I love Snowballs and had a couple in Missouri, but we haven't noticed them here yet.

hi, i only make small batches of soap as gifts for like christmas and birthdays, but have you tried cierra candle and soap supplies? they have a few lilac fragrance oils. they are actually the only place ive ordered fragrance oils from so i have no way to tell if they a good or not compared to others, but i thought i'd mention them

They're just gonna happen sometimes! I got the plastic and aluminum trays from The Restaurant Store this time. Some came in damaged. It seems like all of the restaurant supply stores online don't care a whole lot about proper packaging. So far not great luck with The Restaurant Store or Webstaurant. BUT, The Restaurant Store does have great customer service. I often wonder if they are under the same corporation though.
