I gotta hand it to soap creators that make these what I would call labor intensive soaps…not sure I would ever do that in such a large scale. I think if I did make specialty ones for certain seasons, they would definitely be in an extremely limited quantity. Kudos to you Holly! Merry Christmas!

Hi Holly, once again a classic that I will never get tried of you making it. They're your master piece. Both sets look really good 1 has more pop of colors for those who love brightness. The other 1 is your original. I love them both little bit for everyone. Thank God all of your family is safe. I was reading everyone comments about what had happened where y'all lived because I was out in Puerto Rico taking care of my mom. She was operation on her knee. So we hardy receive US News.

your piping is beautiful! I will have to try the hollys next year 🥰 Do you think if i did the leafs and the holly berries together then stuck them on the top the berries will stick to the leaf?

Thank you Kelly! Yes, it does seem to work that way too. I piped the berries onto some remaining leaves (just on some parchment paper) and the berries did stick just fine. The hollies you see scattered around in the pictures were done that way. I think I will do that next time and that way it's all done at once.

Hi Holly. I love watching you make soap - you are so casual and fearless about it-you just jump in there and try new things and do those huge tubs full of soap batter! I'm fairly new so I do a loaf at a time so you fascinate me with those multi-loaf molds. Anyway I have a specific question for you. I notice you almost always add coconut milk to your oils. I love using milks for my soaps but I always make mini ice cubes out of the milk and use it in my lye solution in place of water. When you add it to the oils as you do, do you count it or discount it anywhere or is it just considered a superfat? I hope you and your family are safe and had a blessed holiday season. 🥰

Thank you Donna! I'm sorry I am late answering you. I do discount the liquid milks from the water amount. So the lye solution has less water...but it's made up by the milk I am adding to the oils.

These are so beautiful. You are an amazingly talented soap artist. My question is, why do you run the popsicle stick around the outside of the mold? Sorry if that's a dumb question. Is it like baking, to make removing from the mold easier? Also, thank you for scraping out every last bit from the container. It drives me nuts on soap or cooking videos when they don't do that 🙂.

Thank you Sheryll! I use the popsicle stick to clean up the edges. When that soap on the edge solidifies, it crumbles off during unmolding and it's just a pain in the rear.

I did spot a missed leaf on the first batch 😂 Waiting to see if you noticed it too was nerve-wracking

So as you noticed, I didn't get to order my holiday gifts from you this year. I just found a house, and will be putting in an offer. Mom jumped off the back porch 2 weeks ago and broke her left hip, so she's now in a rehab facility. We close on her house this coming Wed. I brain feels like mush! Hopefully, my next order will be going to the house I'm about to put that offer in on!

Oh goodness...I'm so sorry that your mom was injured. Buying a house, moving, it's all so nerve wracking and you have so many more things to deal with and figure out on top of it. I'm hoping everything goes smoothly!

Hey Holly, how long do you leave your soap in the mold before unmolding and cutting?

It is typically around 48 hours to unmold. I usually try get them cut in the next day or two after that. The ones for video usually get put off.
