Why are your videos so calming even though you are bubbly? Because your bubbly personality is so genuine! You aren't putting on a show for the people watching. Your happiness can be contagious in all the best ways. Add to that the visual aspect of your soap making: the blending, pouring and mixing. They come together for the best dopamine hit many of us get in a day.

Definitely, I watch Katie when I can't sleep because there is NOTHING unhappy or stressful in her videos so it's the perfect mindset to be in before bed.

I agree bubbly is the right word! It's like cleansing for the soul. ASMR if you will. Most people try to fake it and get views and Katie just does what she does and puts out her authentic self!

Having a positive happy voice as one of the last things you hear before you go to bed is nice. It ends the day on a positive note in a way.

Your videos are relaxing because even when you're stressing out about a paranormal color morph or a riced soap, you never sound angry or like super disappointed or even stressed. You're laughing all the way and taking life on the bright side, so when I watch your videos I know I don't have to stress either! PS: I'm not saying you shouldn't have your downs or always pretend to be happy or anything! But it's like watching a Disney movie and knowing that the end will be happy even if stuff happens in the middle

You won my husband over with your soaps! His skin isnt having bad reactions anymore! I got the "best doggo" soap as a gift and he loves it along with the dear diary

Same. I lost my grandma on Friday and it's been quite a week so far, I need some joy in my life and Katie is perfect.

One of the reasons you're so relaxing is because you're real. You're not putting on a show and you're just yourself. Some creators you can tell they're playing a persona and not being themselves. Knowing I can click on your videos and get the real deal is calming. Even when things aren't going great and you let us know, I'm like I understand that so much and appreciate you feel you can share. I feel you really want the best for everyone and want everyone to have a good day. We can come here and not have to think, just relax and enjoy your content.

I’ve been watching for years not since the beginning but quite awhile and I attest to the “bubbly” demeanor; which I adore. Anywho I’ve run into local marketers who have been inspired by your soaps as have I. Not selling anything but since fall of 2023 I’ve begun making soap for myself. I am from New Zealand so I am a Kiwi. A kiwi is a bird. The symbol of our country. We call them Kiwifruit. It seems weird hearing you call kiwifruit kiwi. The soap looks so bright and happy!

Kiwi has a special place in my heart. My grandparents had a huge kiwi in their garden. We are trying to grow one two. It's big and had flowers but no fruits yet. Turns out she needed some boyfriends. We bought them hopefully we get kiwifruit this year!!

When I was a kid back in the 60s I begged my mom for kiwi at the farm market all the time (weekly). It was expensive, but she finally bought me some. I couldn’t believe how good it was! It was so exotic back in the day. I am the kind of person who hears fruit and am willing to try anything. Coffee beans are fruit and sweet before roasting…if anyone is interested in that tidbit.

Hey Katie! I'm pretty sure both kiwis and pineapples contain protease enzymes - these break down proteins which usually causes tingly and fuzzy feelings in the mouth when you eat a lot. If it's an immediate reaction it's way more likely to be an allergy though. Kiwi is probably a favorite fruit of mine. I really love strawberry kiwi flavors and scents!

It is relaxing because it's hard for me to be so distracted that I "forget" my anxiety at night, so I dont need videos that hype me up too much and I dont need videos that bore me, I need that sweet spot that you're giving. I can watch the process of the soap making, learn new details and hear you speak about nothing crazy, nothing dramatic, nothing that will keep me up at night.

I think the reason why people do it regularly is because you are such a fun and loving person that you're comfortable to be in the presence of. Simple soaps are my abssolute favorite.

I loved kiwi up until my body said NOPE!! and i became severely allergic, as in my throath rapidly swells shut if ingested. so sadly have to treat them lil fuzzy fruits like the plague and keep my distance. i'm just happy it's not like severe peanut allergy where you can't even be in the same room.

I’m not a huge fruity flavor girl but I love your soaps no matter what smell that have!! Plus, the fruity smells remind me of my late hubby- who really loved your strawberry soaps!!! 💜💜💜

When I was a child in the 60s, kiwifruit were actually called "Chinese Gooseberries". In the 70s, they started to export them to the USA and the world, so needed a brand name. They called them "kiwifruit" then. They aren't known as 'kiwis' in New Zealand because a kiwi is a flightless bird here.

I ordered myself a self-care parcel with a lot of frosted but also some simpler soaps. To reward and treat myself when things are rough or I can't afford a day at a professional spa so I can have a mini-spa event at home. And I absolutely LOVE AND ADORE the simplicity rose and sea salt. It is such a good fragrance and I love how luxurious it feels! My skin feels so smooth afterwards. Most of the time, I can just forego lotion because the soap doesn't feel like its drying my skin out. I am so excited to get into the other soaps once I used up this bar.

I can't go back to normal soap after trying handmade soaps. Handmade is so much nicer to skin! I also stopped using lotion after making the switch :)

I might buy this whole collection… I cant resist fruit scented soaps!!

i am one of those who watches your videos at night! i think it's the sort of routine of your soapmaking videos that's really nice and relaxing. i can watch 5 in a row and they all carry similar cadences, if that makes sense! repetitive, but NOT in a boring way!!

I shall be taking this as a sign. This is my first year selling my soap (I've been making for several years, because I went on a whole youtube arc where I watched you, and tiggy, and a bunch of other soapmakers obsessively for 6 months and then finally made a bunch for xmas gifts one year) and my spring collection really wearied me. A couple of the soaps really didn't do what I wanted them to, I had to rebatch one because a rose oil seized on me, I had to re-do another because the pomegranate fragrance morphed to straight cinnamon (saving that one for release in the autumn, it's fine). I just want a nice well-behaved soap.

The bar of soap reminds me of two things from my childhood! It's the same exact colors as my elementary school softball team (The Shockers) and the container of my mom's waterproof mascara that she used when i was growing up!

I used to hate kiwis, they always made my mouth feel weird, but then about a month ago I thought I'd try one again just to see and now I love it !! Also I usually watch your videos when I'm getting ready for the day on weekends, so your bubbly personality kind of helps me get up and motivated for homework haha

I would be so tempted to use different fragrance oils in each half, strawberry in the bottom and kiwi on top (or reversed for CHAOS), even though I doubt anyone would notice in the final product.

I love kiwis. When I'm too lazy to peel and slice, I just buy sungolds so I can eat them straight up. No fuzz, no problem (and slightly less tangy than normal kiwi).

I had a minor allergy to kiwi when I was a kid but it’s still one of my favorite fruits and doesn’t affect me anymore.
