Makes me happy to watch these clips, brings back memories from high school when the teacher couldnt be arsed, they'd pop in a vhs of Front Line.

Ha, to be fair you can learn more from one episode of this than you can from a week's worth of school.
The blocking for a 4:3 show is absolutely amazing. I knew WD had this pioneering thing where they cut to the other camera a fraction of a second AFTER the person starts talking, but I never really appreciated the blocking. Compared to Blackadder where they all just look crammed into the frame, this just feels so natural. (Still feels a bit crowded in after so many years of 16:9, tho.)

that is very specific and I can never unsee it
@Working Dog - This series saved my life. When I was given the opportunity to get a work vehicle at a higher level, I immediately joked "A SAAB". I was later driven off the road, and the car saved my life.
Nice Commodore, now worth more than the SAAB 😂

I was going to say that I'd rather have the Holden as well. :)
Priceless
Jan was my favourite Frontline character.

The characters were based on different personalities within the industry. I was in the business when Frontline was around, and I'm pretty sure I know who Jan was based on. I don't mean that as a negative, the one I have in mind was a lovely lady, a ball of fun .
