    One thing I REALLY like about this is how totally unique and not-at-all connected to anything the character is. It's just a randomly adorable Astronaut with interchangable faces. Can't wait for mine to arrive so I can just admire him. I may put one in a fishtank with a lazy bubbler behind him. Bravo, Crafsman!

    Seriously, sometimes a 5 minute video can be a slog if it's boring. But this 16 minutes just flew by like it never happened! I had a smile on my face when you made your first press and the figure you drew up a couple of years ago (maybe not even that long ago) is now a reality, it's a dream come true.     Almost all of the song is just sad coincidence and absurdly improbable. That is the most ironic thing about song is that it is almost completely lacking in irony other than in name. Still a good song. Edit: Soundgarden did "Spoonman" and that would have also been apt.

    :| Thank you! But I do feel bad about them selling out like that. Past releases were never more than around 250 figures, and this one started out around 700 on the first wave. Cannot believe it, to be honest. The good news is, I've already started replenishing stock. ;)

    Not only do I get to enjoy watching craftsman work, but I also get to learn about manufacturing processes. Good thing, since I have a Production Engineering exam coming up. Perhaps, one day, the craftsman could do a video comparing various processes across shaping/forming/separating/joining.

    I’ve had very similar dreams to the ones you express from the jump basically but have spent the last decade and a half struggling with and against myself. I started watching your channel round November/December and the fog started to clear and while I’m far from funk free, the content you share has had a huge impact on me earnestly restarting my journey to keep the dream alive and regardless of the outcome you have my eternal gratitude and I hope one day I can pay it back or pay it forward.     I loved little plastic figures that came in cereal boxes, like the Nabisco Martian that clipped to a spoon. (1960’s). Also liked the versions of “Hall of the Mountain King” you had played.

    That LNS 300A is remarkably similar to the Buster Beagle Mk 3 pneumatic injection molding machine; which you can build yourself for 1/4 the cost and it has 50% more injection volume.

    Just when I'm wondering what's my old favourite Craftsman up to lately, KZread sends me this video. The only design adjustment I would make personally would be to add a small hole in the back of the head to reduce vacuum and allow the face to be pushed out if necessary.

    The cool plastic toys at the beginning brought some great nostalgia back for me, I had the robot guys and the space men. Sometimes monopose is great because it makes your imagination fill in the rest of the story. Super excited about your new figures, and love following the process.
