You oil it regularly with a rag and whatever you do, you DON'T touch the blade! the oils and such in your skin could potentially etch the steel

Rip your elbow. Man you need to clean up your swing or you'll be hurting when you get older. There are a couple good technique videos(essential craftsman or black bear forge) on here it might feel strange for a while but you'll work less as well. Not a dig on your work though I couldn't make something like that. Sweet build.

@@MarekTabi you’re trying to drive the hammer through your work piece and anvil. So when you hit your removing the rebound properties of the anvil. Look at some KZread videos on hammer technique then compare it to yours. You’re a good smiths but you can be far more efficient. Trust me you’ll be far happier with your ability to move steel this adjustment.

@@MarekTabi anytime brother. I also didn’t want to see you having to hang up your hammer too soon. You can really mess up your wrist, elbow and shoulder without proper technique. You’ve got skills man I’m looking forward to seeing what you make!
