    YES!!! Portrait crossbody that would open like backback (more zipper I guess) Magnetic close pocket on outside. Inside as you described...maybe a mirror inside too and top handle that could ALSO attach long strap. Thank you for helping me find machine. My husband works with Thai Air Force.

    Hi Nancy. I use plastic tube as piping and pig skin as lining. But you also can use leather rope/rubber tube/rope as piping too. And lining you can use any fabric, I may recommend alcanthara or micro-fiber lining.

But in Thailand there are lots of leather bag manufacturers and maker so there are many machine old n new sell. Also many second hand shop import the used from closed factory n refurbish here for sell.

    I use regular round awl instead of diamond blade awl in the zipper teeth position. You can try pressing lightly to feel it before press through. For the D-Ring you can skive but not too thin for strength factor. You are welcome. :)

  • @craftsmangus

    @craftsmangus

    3 жыл бұрын

    It's Grafted Polychloroprene Adhesive local brand here in THAILAND named "Bond-Tech No. BT-430" Basically you can use any contact adhesive, apply on both side(prepared clean surface) and wait it until dry then apply. Just the dry time is depend on the brand you use, location and humidity in where you are living. You need to test on each brand to find the perfect time for you. And you have to open and then close the lid very quick.

  • @craftsmangus

    Thank you for your support. For zipper you can use YKK No.5 or Riri No.6 (or other brand compatible). The zipper will be shown its width in 15 cm. and the length is 29.8 cm. according to the pattern in file you have. You can use the PDF print and place on cardboard paper to make trace and cut the zipper. I'm so sorry if the material list you need is not complete. It is great that you inform me in any channel from e-shop you bought or KZread media. I'm now in process of updating for better customer experience.

  • @craftsmangus

    Of course. "Cylinder bed"/"Post bed" industrial sewing machine can sew this bag with (small) walking footer. But if work with thin and soft leather, flat bed industrial sewing machine can do too. Normally, most of leather bags brand use sewing machine. If handmade will be too much cost n selling price.
